The manager isn't going to play him for whatever reason, so he's no use to them except as a saleable asset. Don't know about his character but clearly Bowyer was keen to sign him, and his stats over the last few seasons are impressive, especially for assists. Look at our midfield- Gallagher gone, Cullen going, Pratley 34, which is an achievement for a midfielder, Docherty an unproven short-term loan, Morgan still learning his trade, Field going, J F-C made of glass, Williams injury-prone. We should be backing Bowyer with regard to Maddison.

Maddison is a bad apple. He didn’t even want to join Hull City. The bit about MM wanting Peterborough to pay him up made me laugh. That’s how hungry he is to actually play football. The Posh chairman also said he picks & chooses the games he wants to travel to ...”didn’t fancy Rotherham away”. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
