We obviously don't have strength in all areas, but with the "tripe" (Laecelles, Longstaff, Schar, Dummett) playing well now, it's the best we can ask really.

We overachieved last year and have a decent chance of doing it against this year.

I don't think lascelles plays well he just tries and gets carried... lascelles continously gets dragged out of position and if he's in bother he passes to trippier and he gets us out the ****.

Putting it simply lascelles Dummett are not good enough for a top half Premier league side never mind in the champions league.

Newcastle are forced to use them and the sooner they get replaced the sooner Newcastle go up another gear.

They are next in line obviously. With Botman coming back soon, it won't be as much or an issue, but we need a new partner for Botman with Schar going to back up.

Livramento looks great, but we really needed to spend that money on a CB.

Yep Newcastle are probably 2 to 4 good windows at most away from competing properly and it's going to be so much better than this season.

The Botman injury is a real issue I read it might be an lengthy one Yesterday.
 
Wedding anniversary tonight so unlikely to be able to watch this live. Any idea if there's going to be a highlights programme on somewhere so I can hide from all media and catch up on it later?

This is what I want to see our best possible 11 going there ... I want to see Newcastle win a ****ing trophy... I couldn't care less about Arsenal or Dortmund if we get through.

Worry about those ****ers in a few years.

It's been 67 years ffs and we've got people wanting to play **** players.

Draw at Dortmund and PSG and beat Milan. More than doable.
