2 games it is then. I woke up this morning waiting for confirmation that they've let him go but alas, let's see what happens.

Just say that we get 4 points from the 2 games then what's next? Do the club give him more time? I hope not because that'll just mean that things will settle back in to the same old mundane state that we're currently in. Are they waiting on someone else? Maybe but who and why are they waiting? It leads me to think that they hope that MM can turn things around and that they believe he's the right man for the job. Just goes to show that they care little for our footballing style or that they just don't see what type of trash he's delivering.

Oh well, as they say... 2 games it is!!

Or, they know just like the Irish stately home (apologies Irish) Fu*k Hall about football

No need to apologise Bluey. You’re spot on. I think our first priority this season is to stay in the Championship. How we go about that is anyone’s guess but long term we need a new manager who can rebuild this team and a board who know something about football!

Careful what you wish for Remote.

Front 4 including Bacuna and Collins. <yikes>
Nooooo.
More like Moore, Colwill, Harris and Giles.
Maybe Sang or Bowen as options.
Fullbacks in the full back positions, maybe mcguinness or brown with Morrison at the back.
Collins to occassionally run around instead of Moore and Bacuna not in the squad.

Morning all. Do you think Rowberry has taken the Newport job because he saw the writing on the wall for Mick as it's likely that any new manager will bring in his own coaching staff.

Don't see that significance - Rowberry wasn't a McCarthy man. He was at Cardiff long before McCarthy arrived - about 6 or 7 years I think.

Morning mate.

Could well be, although Rowberry has been with us a while now (pre-dates Mick's arrival) and was very highly regarded.

It could be a combo of opportunity to step up locally and the potential for a mass clear out sometime soon has persuaded him it's a good and timely opportunity.

Morning glam. Hope all is well with you and yours.
Yeah, I pretty much agree with sparkey and brizzle. However, my worst fear is that he's gone because he has an idea that Mick is staying! <yikes>
In reality though, probably just opportunity knocking.

Well, Steve Bruce officially back on the market!

Would rather not but he'd still be an improvement on the current situation.
I hope he got a good pay off. The man worked miracles keeping Newcastle in the top flight. I'm pleased he's gone purely for his sake. He looked increasingly like a man on the brink of a heart sttack.
I don't think he's right for us and we're certainly not right for him. But I bet our board are looking at him.
Don't think we could afford him anyway.

He’s used to taking on lost causes<whistle>

According to Radio Wales, the last time City lost seven games in a row was when Bartley Wilson was manager 87 years ago.
Do you remember that BfB, Masky, anyone? ;)
