You never know, being "his"club he may actually be a little more considerate in his approach with them, if he gets the job. I actually saw some Tykes fans saying they wanted him to come "home" and help them out of their predicament.
WoL changing their mind almost every day about who should be our next manager. At the weekend it was one of the younger group to develop a modern style of football then today it's an older battle hardened experienced manager, e.g. Chis Hughton ffs. I hope the board have a bit more common sense than that - okay I won't hold my breath. Hughton would be a worse appointment than McCarthy at this stage and would really turn the fans off.
Gets me thinking that if Morison does get four points this week the board will think hey we’ve got a guy on the payroll, he’s doing better than the previous manager and so let’s keep him in the job and see where we are at the end of the season. Just a thought
Certainly a contender if he can keep the momentum going. The board may have some reservations though after Mick's decline once he got an extended contract. Once bitten and all that.
If and I understand it's a big if, Morison gets the job, I think it's imperative that he is actively involved in the selection and recruitment of his successor at U23 level. We definitely need to take advantage of any opportunity to fix the disjointed progression system.
Paul pitching for Bellamy https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport.../craig-bellamy-cardiff-city-elephant-22057996
Bothroyd says Mark Hudson. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...kCopy&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sharebar You just know it's going to be Hughton. That would be a far from popular choice and could see many fans walking away. Warne from Rotherham, despite the relegation on his cv, would be a better choice, but still a long way from catching our imagination. Bellamy would certainly fire up everyone, but could easily ditch the job if he didn't get his way. Could also be a barrier to some players coming to the club.
Just heard an interview with him. He was told this morning. He said he had little support save the Chairman. Wilder the favourite. Warnock for Barnsley- “my sort of people” ps He got booked for haranguing the ref!
Oh I hope not. I haven’t seen any of today’s game but Big Keef has just said that the team is showing signs of improvement by playing better football. This is how we will move forward not going back to the hoof ball days.
Absolutely right Irish. SM is trying to initiate change and it would be a shame to go backwards again.
Was going to say the same Remote. Wouldn't dismiss Farke. Personally I think he's been hard done by really. Typical knee jerk reaction by a club that's forgetting just how much of a minnow they are when it comes to the top flight. Taking them up twice is no mean feat and relegation should ALWAYS be considered as the likely outcome from the Premier League, with anything else a bonus. I don't think he's spent a fortune either.... Certainly going to be an interesting decision for the club.
Strange decision again - just what do the Norwich board expect? Maybe Delia has ‘the recipe’ for successfully avoiding relegation
