@BrizzleBluebird Wol has the list as this.............. The full list of Cardiff City players' contracts... Expiring June 2022 Josh Murphy Ciaron Brown Alex Smithies Sean Morrison Lee Tomlin Aden Flint Marlon Pack Isaac Vassell Joe Ralls Will Vaulks *Ryan Giles (loan contract)
Cheers Sparky. So up front apart, it's pretty much the entire spine of the team.... Doesn't leave us with much if they are all allowed to go.
Get rid and lets start again, should get money for smithies, brown and ralls the rest buy one get four.
Well in recent times, they haven't exactly covered themselves in glory so you have to ask how much will they be missed. I fully accept that their performances may have been badly influenced by the way they are asked to play. However, as brizzle said earlier, these players have to see the change of manager as an opportunity to show their worth both in terms of ability and attitude - criteria at the top of the list on person specifications for future employers - including us. Personally, I feel that if they're not able to apply themselves and strive to improve, we'll be no worse off without them.
But if they don't pull something out of the bag, who will want them anyway? They'll be on frees but will still want to command some good wages. Who will take a sad bag who does not try?
I don't agree with virtually dismantling the playing staff. All those are out of contract so can walk away if they want. Of the list, Tomlin is gone, Murphy no use to man nor beast, Vassell? Say no more and Giles won't want to come back. Morro, Flint and Pack are past their use by dates but all should have the opportunity to show what they can do for the new manager. Of those Flint and Pack have continued to put in a shift while others have not. Look at their bookings. Smithies is a better keeper than Phillips so we should keep if we can manage down his wage. That leaves Brown, Vaulks and Ralls. Vaulks is very trying but not up to this level and Brown is worth keeping as a squad player. Ralls, if fit can still play so for me a keeper. Also don"t forget there will be others lower down the tree we may want to see the back of. Bit of common sense needed all round.
You talk some sense BFB pal, if I get the job I may offer you the position of my ass! Previous other applicuunts need not apply!

I have to confess that I've stopped taking any notice of who's the latest to join the list of candidates.
Here's another two for you not to look at. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/fulham-assistant-luis-boa-morte-21996829
Let's just get Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher in. They normally have all the answers to every teams issues between them!
