Don't worry mate. SMug will likely now claim that he is ending the argument now for the good of the board, when in reality it is because he will do anything BUT admit he was wrong. No dramas.

I've admitted I've been wrong and apologised if I was wrong in the past, your problem is that you get yersel all hysterical and think everyone is desperate to be proved right. The last you time you tried pulling me on this kind of thing you made more mistakes correcting me ....... you'll do the same on this one <ok>

I didn't pull you up though, you pulled me up so left me with no other option than to school you in the English language. If you want to try and be a smart arse and pull up other people's language and grammar, at least make sure that you're right about it. It's really quite embarrassing for you. You only have to note your total ignoring of questions you can't answer to see that you have blatant issues with accepting being wrong.

Errr, no it's not in fact <ok>

I'm not ignoring questions, I just can't keep up your hysterical flurry of posts ...... some people think you're wrong, you don't, I can live with that.

Of course that's the explanation! <doh> I take it you think Gordon Armstrong writes "a hysterical flurry of posts" too, since you chose to ignore his post confirming you were wrong?

As you ALWAYS like to say, you should always be able to back up everything you say on here. I have done so, you haven't. I'll leave it at that, don't want the people of your kingdom to realise you're a mere mortal who isn't right about everything, now do we?

To get the hang of this thread... Someone is saying the above is present tense and someone else is saying it's past?

OK, let's take it back to why I questioned your point and let anyone who's bothered decide if you were suggesting SS were right.

I replied by saying, "So Viera is going to SJP?"

You came back and said "No idea."

I replied with, "But ... "The telegraph have been twisting about the Vieira news ever since sky broke it because it contradicted their article about an hour previously that NUFC were "set to offer McClaren a 3rd chance to accept them".
"They won't admit SS were right until they have to, even if they know they are."

You then turned it into the grammatical argument you're accusing me of ....... "I didn't pull you up though, you pulled me up so left me with no other option than to school you in the English language. If you want to try and be a smart arse and pull up other people's language and grammar, at least make sure that you're right about it. It's really quite embarrassing for you."

I didn't pull you up on grammar, at all, I was questioning your inference that one media source was right, because it suited your lame argument, while the other was just acting out of sour grapes because some dreadful rival didn't agree with them ......... that's so pitiful, it's really quite embarrassing for you. <ok>
