Tactically, Pardew did ok. 5/10. We were set up decently, pushing Simpson on was very good indeed, having Santon pushed on wasn't. Substitution wise he's at 2/10, way too late as usual. The game was gone by the time they came on. Shola isn't Teddy Sherringham or Ole Gunna...

The players put in a decent performance, but surrendered some shoddy goals due to poor marking/defending. Culpability does not solely rest with Pardew for that because he definitely doesn't tell his players to get themselves into a mess and let Rodallega have a free run... as mentioned Simpson bombing on provided width and some decent delivery, but all the attacks came down our left wing, Fulham's right. Pardew should have recognised Santon was being caught to often and being targeted.

I don't want to be too harsh, because it was a better away display than we usually see, but it was against a team struggling as badly as us for form and scoring opportunities, and we've gifted them 2 goals and 3 points. It's perplexing to know whether to be incredibly critical, or quietly optimistic things will turn round.
 
Simpson - A player that is already sour at the place and wants to leave. I'd personally not pay too much attention to his opinions.

Pards - He said we conceded a "soft second goal", he didn't say the players were soft. And he was very right! The 2nd goal was just text book **** defending and a standard freekick to a 5ft 10 inch player. It should have been meat and drink for us.

The press is trying to stir ****. Ba has come out many times to false the ****e stories in the papers about him. Obviously a club that is currently suffering from poor form is going to have players which are sad and depressed. But I doubt we're in a situation where the Manager has totally lost the dressing room and every player wants to leave.
 
Have to disagree. Simpsons comments are a mirror image of Pardews post match. He also commented the players had given everything. Both have noted the soft goals we conceded (two individual errors by el capitano). Seem to be very much on the same page to me, nothing to see here as Chief Wiggum would say! Unless I'm missing something obvious?

They both summed up the performance well. We gave a good away performance but gifted 3 points to the opposition by conceding soft goals from individual errors. Obviously not gonna get on Colos back though given how good he has been for us.
 
Pardew is the manager and he is responsible and for him to blame the players shows he lacks any managerial ability whatsoever.

That is litterally the first ****ing rule in any management job.

If this silver haired wife ****er was a good manager he would be taking the issues regarding our injury situation to his superior and if required quit on behalf his team I've done it. I also think he needs to accpet his mistaked regarding tactical changes and subs and if the arsehole would evern admit that I'd be more confident he could turn things around, however he is totally unaware so the fact is nothing will change.

I don't think he has. He praised the players but pointed out that we gave away soft goals which cost us. Very accurate from him. You and others are looking for things that aren't there, clouded by a hatred of Pardew

Ok Jeremy Kyle I'll let you have that one, however he lacks any mangerial abilty whatsoever when it comes to player selection and reading of live games.

You have to accept that if not now you will when you see his team selction for City and then QPR both games we will lose if he persists with his arrogant attitude about everything being great.

The arsehole needs to try something totally new - out of the box - weve been worked out and hes still sticking - add the fact he cant make good choices during games and we have a serious case of cancer.

No arrogance, just pointing out where you've stated things that appear to be incorrect and at odds with what the manager is saying himself.

I don't mind if he does play the same side, though I'd drop Jonas myself. Our performances have been improving so I hope we build on that and the players cut out the silly errors which are killing us. Of course Willo can't really help that because he is just poor but Colo has dropped 3 or 4 clangers of late and he is much better than that. We need him leading by example.
 
He is responsible we have not scored a set peice all season the moron should be looking at that fact and trying different formations, tactics and drop players like Tiote, Jonas, Williamson.

Ben Arfa could clearly play down the middle and we could go 5 in midfield and have Ba up tops on his own. ]

He does however **** about dragging players all over the pitch throughout every game thinking hes ****ing god - all this does is ruins the rythm of the side and prevents and players from gelling over the course of a season like other teams do. Hes a moron.
 
It's Alan Pardew, I don't like the Football he has us playing and I don't think he has the brain for management and on top of that, I just don't like him.
 
Don't understand how Colo is getting blame for both goals. 2nd goal fair enough it was all his fault but the 1st goal was Santon's fault. If I remember right, earlier in the move Santon didn't follow his runner from the throw in, in the Fulham half meaning Colo had to come across and cover.

Colo covered Santon's arse all game and did a decent job of slowing down the attack leading to the 1st goal. Everyone else was standing and starring, hoping Colo dealt with it. He can't do it all on his own!!

2nd one obviously completely down to Colo. 1st one as you say there was more to it (one of many occasions Santon was out of position) but he still dealt with the situation poorly once there. I thought Colo was very good aside from the two goals but you can't ignore he had a part to play in both. Stoke he was poor for their 2nd goal obviously. He has had a bit of a mare of late but he is allowed a bad spell. I don't like making excuses for him but he has struggled for fitness all season and has only played maybe half the games.
 
I thought Colo did well to slow the play down for their first. You'd have thought someone else would have busted a gut to get back for him. You have to look at exactly why we conceded and I can only see as far as Santon.

If he'd followed his man rather than falling asleep then Colo would have been in position to intercept the cross to Sidwell rather than being forced to get involved out wide. Eventually Colo made a poor decision to scoop the ball rather than concede a corner or throw but it was still a tackle that slowed the move down giving others time to track back and help out

It's unfortunate that some uncharacteristic bad defending from Colo has cost us at least 2 points, possibly 5 vs Stoke and Fulham.

That was my thinking but normally it comes off for him so that is why I can accept a little rough with all the smooth. He'll be hurting at present and isn't type to shirk responsibility. We'll get a positive reaction. We'll need to with Aguero/Tevez and co due to visit <yikes>
