Jackcwm.. laudrup was to be sacked sunday if he had turned upat the emergency meeting, nothing to do with monk at all, He is the obvious choice as caretaker until graeme jones can be released from everton. Laudrup only came back today and was promptly sacked...
Bring on cardiff now and anyone else the lads are free at last and will get back to playing proper football again...we will survive easily now...
His trip to Paris to see his daughter had been arranged for some time so He was never going to be in Swansea Sunday. The players had played 3 games in eight days and staff were given a few days off which happily for the overseas contingent meant they were in London close to major airports. This was explained to me by a relative of a player. But hey ho he's gone. Let's all move forward.
Ummm... Our form was putting us in last place come the end of the season. How exactly could it have been worse?
We could have used the January transfer window to sign great players like Emnes and N'gog to save our season, oh wait. Im very much with seabreeze, our board are not innocent in all this. Both manager and board have as much blame in this whole farce.
We did not need a single player if the truth was known,. we have the strongest squad of players in our history and if they were managed right then we could easily have made the top 6,7 or 8th place. that i have no doubt about...
Promptly sacked? He took training today but don't let facts spoil your post. You don't usually. You post so much b******t you could get a job with the newspapers but.... probably not. They'd prefer someone who had a better standard of grammar than a ten year old.
That's because you can't see what's right in front of. You don't need articles to know what's going on. Listen to people in the know, take note of what's being said and watch the betting. Those things will tell you what's happening a long time before the neat little article that people like you need. Yes, we're all very melodramatic pointing out the obvious.
You mean like Laudrup leaving in the summer, that was all the rumours, from those in the know, thats what the betting was saying.
The speculation was intense last few days, with a flood of money for Monk and Laudrup's odds dropping to an almost certainty. It all pointed to Laurdrup leaving very soon. And as mentioned previously, once a chairman says manager is staying, it's usually only a day or two before he leaves. Remember Cardiff manager being given another chance. How long did that last? Remember Brendan - of course he's staying - next day gone. You have to learn to read between the lines.
And again this stuff happened over the summer, or don't you remember, betting was suspended for Laudrup leaving as "those in the know" were putting on bets. There was also intense rumours going around then. So whats changed, nothing, other than that this time, Laudrup has actually been sacked.
Sorry, I misunderstood your original comment. I thought you meant him leaving this summer. But yes, you're right. Sometimes it doesn't work out. But I think there was definitely something going on last summer. No smoke without fire. But still, I don't see how anyone can have been surprised by the sacking.
