As a Utd fan i thought i would pop over to your board and offer congrats on your win.
It was definately a game of two halves, and unfortunately for us you punished us for not turning up in the first half.
I think it was a good game to watch for a neutral, and once the final whistle had gone for Spurs fans.
Anyway well done and good luck for the rest of the season.

It certainly appears to have been the " game of two halves" these stats from Sky may make some sobering reading for AVB. Especially the second half possession!..

The feeling of ecstasy. Woooo ****in hooo! It's amazing how quiet sites like FaceBook were. Every week enduring gloating, from fans that are from nowhere near Manchester. Not a peep yesterday, they must have gone to bed early. Not having to see my boss' smug face every year on a Monday, telling me how Francis or Gross or Redknapp had got it wrong. Not having to hear how they did an amazing come back, having had nearly every decision go there way due to OT pressure on the referee. Having goals that crossed thê line, not given. To all you little ****heads, wether you are 15 or 30 or 55, that tell me how great you are, but never being able to explain why it is Man U that you support and not Man C, or Salford or your local team, maybe a Walsall FC or Chatham Town FC, kiss my clean shaven balls! Ya fooookin Manc kooooonts! Woooohoooo! We done ya!

Yep Rich the feeling of ecstasy indeed- I'm still high as a kite

I'm not bothered about the stats etc, i know we were lucky but what a performance, what a win

we had two away games in a row with very little recovery time - utd had two home games in row, our players were exhausted says AVB and I believe him, admittedly a lot of the players didn't do two x 90 minutes, but the travelling to Utd and Carlisle on top of the home games on Thurs v Lazio and before against QPR that's a lot of tough tough football we've played recently

now it's off to Greece and then Villa at home.

If we are to go at it in all four competitions, and I sincerely want us to, it's going to be draining, but if we get Ade and Parker back soon, that will be a massive boost.

We've paid out dues
Time after time.
We've had goals chalked off
Yet they crossed the line
And bad mistakes
The refs made a few
They stole our players to their place
But now we've come through

We beat United - my friends
We kept on fighting - till the end -
We beat United
We beat United
No time for Judas
'Cause we beat United - on the road

Well done on a fabulous win!! What gives you more pleasure? Beating Arsenal or finally getting a win against a team, Tottenham fans under 20 years of age have never witnessed, and against a likely title contender! It would be good for the Premiership if yourselves and Everton can mount a sustained challenge and push out two of last season's top four. How about a London 1, 2, 3!!

We were part of last season's top 4 <ok>

Winning at OT tops even that win at the Emirates the other year for me

I do notice quite a few people seem to forget we finished top 4 last season, not just oppo fans on here, but in pubs, wherever

Just had a real Man U fan at my desk. Season ticket holder who travels once a fortnight.

They had an injury crisis.

Fantastic. Made my morning listening to a list of player names who were crocked.

At least he spoke to me. Nearly three hours I've been sat here and not a peep out of the others. Not even an email.

I love being a Spurs fan.

They had Jones, Smalling, Vidic, Cleverly(?), Valencia and Young out. We had Kaboul, Ekotto, Naughton, Parker, Livermore and Ade out. Seems like we were fairly even for injuries to me.

Well said YV, AFAIK, Cleverley wasn't injured, so we had more injuries than Utd, you'd never know it though would you.

Player like Kaboul Parker Ade are as big for us as any of their absentees.

United's squad is (theoretically) bigger and better than ours, but we dealt with the injury crisis at least as well as them on Saturday

I think the done thing is to email them. Would be bad manners not to.

Nobody is blaming injuries. Vidic's absence was a big loss, but we coped last season. Injuries are part of the game. No team keeps all their players fit all the time,.

If we want to apportion blame, then it's the fault of Rio's missing half a yard of pace, which has seen him become a liability. In his mind, he can still do what he used to do (and do exceptionally well, of course). Unfortunately, his body no longer can. He only has a future if he can adapt.

Last week Rio was excellent and I felt he put in a Terry like performance which didn't require him to be lightning quick. With Vertonghen and Bale taking it in turns to keep Rafael busy whilst the other cuts inside it left you wide open which is not what you want when Lennon, Bale and Defoe are running at you. If anything I'd say you missed a fully fit Fletcher of old more than anyone else in that first half. Everytime we got the ball we moved it forward past the midfield with little fuss and little opposition.
