Apologies Spurs fans. No time for the Chelsea bellend much like certain fans of that club you all refer to as mousers.

I don't think a match thread on man utd v spurs needs to turn into a wum fest for chelsea fans to wind up utd fans.

District, for once I'm going to agree with you,we MUST NOT get complacent. AVB must revel in the win although it's not he who's suffered 23 years without a win up there so he won't be feeling as good as we are. But then he must bring the players down to earth for the bread and butter stuff like Villa. You make a good point.
Bloody deflection for you again,I wanted Arsenal to wipe the floor with you.

  5. I have sons aged 21, 10, and 2. None of them have ever seen Spurs win at United.

The 10 year old and the 2 year old watched it with me on TV, this evening, and we all went mental at the end, hugging one another. I don't know how many of you have ever witnessed the spectacle of a 2 year old yelling "come on you Spurs!" with a dummy in his mouth? I spoke to the eldest immediately after the match, and he had been listening to it on the radio, as he was at work.

That's how big this win is to us, in the HIAG household.

  6. A truly memorable day - well done lads!!!!
There were a few points proved today, not least the fact that (contrary to popular opinion) AVB appears to have already gelled with the team and has instilled a great work ethic as well as being tactically shrewd. Appreciate that this was a BIG win for the club, but there were some genuine emotions out there amongst players and management - especially noticed Steffs greeting for subbed players as they came off.

2 very different halves and great performances throughout, but Brad once again proved his worth, Gallas was immense throughout and (unfortunately) Walker again showed his defensive frailties. And apparently Bale hasn't trained all week because of flu and Sigs was also a major doubt.

Top drawer day - and one a long time in the coming....... YES!!!!!

Wow,Bale meant that to go in didn't he? So strong that their goalie could only palm it out. What a kick from Bale and a cool finish. Bloody good signings. I thought that we hadn't done enough in the transfer market too.

Chelsea fan here... well done. That United defeat was long overdue. Although I don't want you boys doing too well you helped us today! And we got a win as well at Le Arse! Got my tickets through the post for Spurs v Chelsea on the 20th October. Can't wait for that showdown!

Well done on a fabulous win!! What gives you more pleasure? Beating Arsenal or finally getting a win against a team, Tottenham fans under 20 years of age have never witnessed, and against a likely title contender! It would be good for the Premiership if yourselves and Everton can mount a sustained challenge and push out two of last season's top four. How about a London 1, 2, 3!!

Good tactic. Abusing members of the forum after your hopeless side was once again totally outplayed.

All satisfying, but recently we have started to turn the tide of abysmal results vs Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and now utd. Firstly at whl, and now away so so happy. <ok>

Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic, I've just come down off the ceiling

    absolutely unbelievable

even now I can't quite take it in

I'm still waiting for the utd winner

i thought we were certain to lose

i thought we had no chance of top 4

    first one- i was wrong

now here's hoping my second call is wrong too

i must look up the top 4 odds - we have to be in there now

bale at last did what i expect of him, produce a monster performance

and i have a new fave player - JV - he could be our new mabbutt- maybe even better
