Even though I have a season ticket this still makes me angry! Just got an email from the club saying (the champions are in town, we're ready are you, tickets starting at £12) what annoys me is tickets don't start at £12 as those £12 pound tickets are for under 10's and obviously would require an adult to attend as well meaning in reality it's £62 for the adult and child tickets! I don't think the club will realise what they have done with these ridiculous prices until they see the poor attendance on Saturday. Are we looking at under 20000 attendance?? I have a feeling we may

It's only a standard marketing ploy to get you to look into it further. Like Easyjet flights from 99p, or 'Buy one get one free'

Why would the attendence be so low on Saturday? I think it was quite high last time?

Tickets DO start at £12 you just have to be U10 to get one.
As has been said it's a marketing ploy to get you interested.

Yeah I appreciate its a ploy to get you interested but as soon as someone sees the 50quid for an adult ticket they may change there mind, also I expect a poor turnout saturday as this is the first game where it's cost 50quid for non season ticket holders, I can't see the usual numbers stumping that up

Ah right, that will have an impact on numbers. Hopefully it will be a great game of football anyway for those who can get there!

I re-bought my season pass for the good view we have, not really the savings as I always miss a cpl of games due to hols etc.

I haven't looked at the individual match prices until now, but £50 for top of the West Upper would be a bit much for me . . . .

The seats left empty by Hull city fans, will no doubt be snapped up by premier league fans eager to see their superstar heroes :embarrassed:

The difference in price between categories is too great. Adult prices of £25, £30 and £40 would be much better and would be more suited to sell all seats at no reduction in overall revenue. Having empty seats at a Premier League ground with a capacity of 25,000 is ridiculous.

BOZZZY

surly this is only a big game for hcfc fans.i doubt man city fans will think of it as big.i doubt many other clubs fans will class hcfc as a big game.

I'm not surprised that we're selling out the Cat A games, I expect a load of Man City plastics in the home seats, it's the Cat B games where I expect our attendances to suffer.

Funny that, Man City "plastics" didn't exist 5 years ago..

When Lyon played Man U here, it was advertised as OL vs Manchester

I queried "which manchester club?"

blank stare..

The French didn't even know Manchester had two clubs..

now of course you can even buy the blue half's shirt in the local sports shop..
