There is not one fan who would not shake Malky by the hand and thank him for his time here, on a personal level everyone liked him. I felt he would be given one last chance against Sunderland because if we won that the situation would improve greatly while if it was lost I doubt anyone would expect him to keep his job then.
On the football pitch it has been a different matter, we have now won 7 games out of the last 32 in the two leagues.
The team did not come out and play for the manager against Southampton.
The pay off is said to be £2 million for Malky and we will see if any other owner will take a chance on him.
It is a sad end to the matter.
