George Boyd will score the winner in the Burnley match, we all know it, the script was written the day he left us for them, and if he's the £3m investment that keeps them up and sends us down there's going to be a fair bit of egg on a fair few faces.

I saw George throw up down the tunnel when he walked off the pitch in that last match of the promotion season vs Cardiff. Whilst others chatted nonchalantly whilst watching Watford vs TWS waiting for the result to come he locked himself away in a cupboard on his own and cried. That's how much promotion meant to him and he thought we'd blown it.

Should never have sold him in a million years.

I still think we were right to sell him, having brought in 3 new wingers and bearing in mind he wasn't playing enough before that anyway..

The problem was that all three of those wingers have completely backfired for whatever reason and in his position we're left with the same players we finished last season with, minus Boyd.

They looked pish at our place last week, Ings is out of form and without him notching they don't look to have much at all.

They could be in the worst run of form in Premier League history - they'd still beat us. I can't pain myself to look at the head to head - but it is truly dreadful.

Bruce will regret games like at Stoke where other teams in the **** picked up maximum points. Not us, we went to play for a 0-0, badly, we lost. Games like that have cost us and added to the pressure with just 6 remaining.
