Maybe he was born in Northumberland and now resides in Durham. Or maybe like me, born in Hertfordshire and brought up in Sunderland. Or my son, born in Northampton and brought up there and Australia. It doesn’t matter where you’re from it’s whether or not your support for your chosen club is genuine.

I worked for a Brummie, in Antibes, who painted super yachts and was a bit of a gangster. He really was a beast, 6’4” bodybuilder and slightly unhinged. We’d be in situations where I'd see him start to lose it and I’d literally beg the other people to just walk away. If they didn’t the consequences could be terrible, once he started he’d carry it on way more than necessary.

He ended up moving to Malaga, as the French police had him under surveillance, and carried on painting the yachts, running a night club, etc …

… sure enough he was tracked down and worked over by a gang of blokes he’d upset in France, never truly recovered.

As you say, size is important but it isn’t everything.

Ridiculous for a pro "journalist". He's a shill for Saudi now, never having been up to that much in the first place.

When you find yourself needing to refer to someone as simple because they don't see things your way, it is your own lack of intelligence that is being made clear.

They seem to be going out of their way to make sure every fan hates them except their own deluded bunch of nuggets
