I had to check to see who won this trophy last season.

I did remember, once I'd looked, but recall it was barely mentioned after a week or so ...

... the same will happen with Newcastle, although it might take a fortnight with them <laugh>

My Mrs asked "what the hell's the carabao cup"?

I replied, "exactly". :emoticon-0148-yes: <laugh>

there seems to be some angst floating around today.

FFS man, get a grip <laugh>

The team you now support has won a trophy for the first time in decades ...

... and you were on here last night when most people would've been celebrating.

Now you're back again stroking your knob and drooling.

This cup will only be talked about by Mags in a week's time, run along and enjoy it while you can.

There's been far more anger on a match day thread than seeing them win something eventually. I think all scum fans wish we were more annoyed.

I really couldn't give a toss about them, good for them that they won and sounds like they deserved it but I just don't care. That definitely seems to wind up their fans more for some reason, certainly does at my workplace. Its a proper mix where I work and its always the mags trying to wind us up, most have realised we simply don't care now like!

I mean they probably should win something based on their spending the last few years, must be one of the top 4 or 5 spenders in the premier league surely.

Albert has been waiting for this moment, an awful long time, since he switched from Sunderland to Newcastle.

He's had to suffer relegation, cup final defeat, blowing the title, six in a row, etc, but this was his moment …

… but, as always, he just couldn’t come up with anything novel, witty or clever.

He absolutely blew his chance and may never get another <laugh>
