Telegraph today has it at £75k plus signing on. They are usually pretty good. Never quick mind, but they are usually near the mark when they publish that kind of thing.

For Forest, what I'd be worried about is the one year deal. If that's right it can only help the player.

Have to say it's a safety net for all parties. If the team get relegated, they aren't stuck with a player on daft wages in the Championship if they stay up, probably trigger an extra year.

For a while certainly. The nutter bought, or had a say in Durham City at one time, ending up with him falling out with the owner of New Ferens Park and playing in Willington I think! Not sure what happened in the end there.
 
Souness dropping some truth bombs about Newcastle on TalkSPORT

He has met with Anelkas reps, he was all for signing for Newcastle then Freddie said he didn't want him, he wanted Owen. Said there's an unrealistic expectations from the fans. Finished off by saying after the Newcastle job he packed in Management, couldn't be arsed with the new kind of owners at clubs.

Saw that on FB and the way their fans are going on about it. Then one of their own fans says “I won’t give that regime a penny. I didn’t like Mike Ashley but he was nowhere near these guys running the club” and also gets it in the w neck from their fans.

Soecial breed that lot
