I do wonder how Luke Edwards gets a job writing for the Telegraph. There's such a quality difference between him and the other writers. Some of his stuff reads like straight up Chronicle propaganda. Not sure why they let him post it.

Luke Edwards ****ting out a hilarious piece in the Telegraph showing how NUFC were the victims and how Isak is 100% the villain. That should go down well with the Gravy masses

Edwards used to be " Northern Football writer". He might still be in name. Never up to much really, but would do bits on us, that lot, Leeds, Boro etc.

Became a fully paid up and lazy shill for the Saudis very quickly. Almost every week there is a whinge about the cartel, the big six, EUEFA, not enough players, too many players, green grass, bright sunlight. Any whinge will do.

The wonder is that he is employed by any of them really. He gets told stuff from the Saudis, but no-one else, so he hasn't got the snout for the job..

And he is most certainly not a good writer, using cliche driven wooden prose devoid entirely of originality in phrasing, which can occasionally be a saving grace.

AI is going to eat him, and others like him up.

I'm loving Isak's farewell on Insta

"I want to express my gratitude to my team-mates, the staff, and above all, the city of Newcastle and all the amazing supporters for the three unforgettable years we shared together," Isak said in a post on his Instagram account, external.

"Together, we have written history and brought the club to the place where it truly belongs.

"It has been an honour to be part of the journey, from reaching the Champions League to winning the first trophy in over 70 years. Forever grateful. Thank you, Newcastle."

He's showing an element of class which I am sure will not be reciprocated!!

It just highlights the embarrassing non statement put out by that lot last night. Achingly juvenile, tantrum driven and, really quite pathetic, in the true sense of the word
