Honestly, from what I've seen so far, City on their day, Man U, Arsenal, Chelsea and maybe even Spurs will all do that Liverpool team. The mags with a man advantage couldn't score and looked toothless against a so far underwhelming Aston Villa, yet scored twice tonight. I know it's still early days, but if Liverpool carry on the way they've been in the last two games, they won't win the league this year.

He can't keep on trying to fit three forwards and Wirtz in the side at the same time unless they are chasing. Two in midfield these days is going to hurt you too often to win a title .

At least some Mags care about more than the amount of money a owner has and will spend!

They protested Mike Ashley and his zero hour contracts and pretended it was down to the people behind mistreated via such contracts of employment!
Duplicitous bastards.

Seems they won’t take the hint if true that Isak really doesn’t want to stay.

This is like 'The Emperor's New Clothes', I can't believe what I'm seeing tbh.

Are all these pundits blind or just afraid to speak the truth?

It's absolutely clear that,

A) Isak was given a verbal agreement regarding summat or other.

B) He's grabbed that and is using it as his ticket out of Dodge.

He could easily resolve the situation and Newcastle could throw him more cash if that were the issue, it's not.

Isak wants out because he doesn't rate Newcastle and used them as a stepping stone to the PL.

The 'gentleman's agreement' is nothing more than the peg Isak has chosen to hang his hat on.

But the Mags will blame Liverpool, the Cartel and the PL, in fact anyone but their rancid club and murderous owners.

They think they'll shake this tag off but, instead, the backlash just keeps growing.

As Abraham Lincoln once said,

'You can sportswash some of the people all of the time ...

... but you can't sportswash all of the people as if they're as thick as pigshyte'.

The meltdown has gone into over-overdrive! Ref should’ve apparently sent off Gravenberg (or whatever he’s called) and that was far worse than Gordon’s rake down Van Dyck! Despite 2or 3 obvious Newcastle yellows before the burst Liverpool one (for their first foul), he was all for Liverpool!
Had to laugh at the booing of VanDyke.. It was obviously all his fault - if he'd used the eyes in the back of his head he could have got out the way - but purposely didn't in order to get an opponent sent off

Really nasty tackle that. Only two things could have happened there. The recieving player gets very badly injured. Or the recieving player gets lucky and limps away.

Howe is culpable here. Sending a team out like violent nutters like that is disgraceful.

Reminded me of an episode of Ted Lasso when they played West Ham!! (If you haven’t seen Ted Lasso it’s brilliant!!)

Someone else mentioned them being too fired up and losing their head due to some transfer business that ongoing (not sure whats thats about as Mags and even Sky etc... havent mentioned it <doh><laugh>). The first thing I thought about was that episode of Ted Lasso!

Class show, ignore the football inaccuracies and enjoy the feel good factor of it!

He didn't have to go for the ball he could've just left Gordon pick the loose ball up and let him through to score. The cartel are against us
