Let's be honest, they have Champion's League now to go with basically unlimited money. They can pretty much sign whoever they want. They're more likely to be bothering Man City than worrying about Spurs next season, imo.

Very good that. Those I know now say next to nothing about football. It is so childishly easy to get them losing their rag it's hard not to laugh. The older ones, with sense and perspective have a bit more about them.

A pity an older bloke like Shearer isn't one of them, though for the hard of thinking, allowances can be made I suppose.

One of my mates is late 50s. Loveliest fella you could ever wish to meet. Until you talk about football. When they played spurs, his retort was “spurs would smash you guys”. Yet pointing out that we were 3rd division doesn’t sit right with him. He talks as if we’ve spent their sort of money and basically turns into “one of them”. Horrible bloke when football is discussed.

They would deny it but I honestly believe if they were given the choice of winning the Premier league or us being relegated to league 2 they would really struggle to decide which option to go for. What's would be more important to them , their success or our demise the fact they couldn't decide just shows there are no other supporters in the world to have the mindset of these thick twats

My genuine thoughts aswell. A rivalry is two teams similar, theses aren't anyone. I don't know if it's an age thing, but when I was younger I'd bite, now when they try, (at work), I just keep very still, don't say anything until they jog on like a T-Rex.
