Best Commentary moment: Coulthard getting linched
Overall BBC coverage rating: 9/10

Best Driver: Button = Alonso. Button was brilliant on a mixed-up strategy. Alonso (and Ferrari) just did the job.
Worst Driver: Sadly, Hamilton.
Best Rookie: Di Resta for entertainment value. A baptism of fire in F1 at Monaco.
Best Team: Ferrari kept their heads down and got on with the job, Red Bull made horrible pit stops and lucked into it as much as their driver did.
Worst Team: Mercedes.
Best Overtake: Hamilton on Schumacher at Turn 1.
Funniest-moment: Coulthard correcting Kravitz on being able to fix a big red nose to the car under the red flag by reminding him that it would need to pass crash testing and be homologated.
Most Surprising Result: Kobayashi based on pre-race expectations. Vettel based on how the race unfolded.
Least Surprising Result: Vettel based on pre-race expectations. Top three based on how the race unfolded.
Special Mention to: The race stewards, who have a thankless task and are often taken to it.
Race Rating: 9/10 High but this was Monaco.

Best BBC commentator/presenter: Jordan. He's a tramp and he loves it but he's a good sport.
Worst BBC commentator/presenter: Jake Humphrey. That pretentious casino thing before the FIA graphics was cringeworthy. He's outlived his usefulness now, IMO.
Best Commentary moment: When Martin Brundle mumbled, "what the ****ing christ is Hamilton doing?" while Coulthard was speaking. I think that's what he said, anyway.
Overall BBC coverage rating: 9/10 but it was hard to go wrong with this one. Except for Jake Humphrey's stupid casino intro thing.

Best not606 Monaco GP chat thread moment: Fred.

Best Driver: Button
Worst Driver: Karthikeyan, plain slow. And Hamilton obviously let his frustrations dominate his poorer than usual performance.
Best Rookie Maldonado put in a great performance today and for the first time, did a better job than di Resta, who came unstuck a bit. P.S. to someone above: Kobayashi is not a rookie!
Best Team: A very difficult choice this time, with none of the top teams getting my vote: Williams.
Worst Team: I'm going to give this to McLaren for scoring several own-goals!
Best Overtake: Hamilton on Schumacher, Turn 1: an audacious move at a place I've never seen it happen in modern day racing.
Funniest-moment: Eddie 'the Fish' Jordan looking for his glasses.
Most Surprising Result: After things settled down at the front with Button leading, his eventual 3rd place was a big surprise when one considers that he had such a lead and raced very very well. (I do not agree that he should have got closer to Alonso when the three leaders were close: his watching brief was the correct tactic under the circumstances)
Least Surprising Result: Vettel victory.
Special Mention to: Maldonado: he's impressed me with that drive.
Race Rating: 9/10 Considering this is Monaco, it was superb. Unfortunately it was marred by an accident requiring the Safety Car with only 7 (potentially very exciting laps to go). For this reason I cannot give it 10.

Best BBC commentator/presenter: Coulthard did his best effort this season and as far as I remember only said hide field once! Brundle is always good.
Worst BBC commentator/presenter: None. All did a good job.
Best Commentary moment: Eddie the Fish
Overall BBC coverage rating: 9.5/10

Its good Lewis drives the way he does. I personally don't want the races going back to the dull as dishwater, decided in the pits processions we used to get. Good on him. And I wish Ferrari would shut up with their whining.

Best drivier: Lewis (more entertaining than the rest of them put together.);)
