Lol i only went after Astro cause he was 1. suspicious to me, 2. the classified, 3. I just felt like hitting him :D

Investigated Astro the same night you hit him and had cash to kill him the following night if you hadn't :p

It seems he was going to be taken out either way lol

That's what I thought. No way I'd be able to commit to managing a game like that with work/family commitments.

However MITO feels about making one or two 'mistakes', that takes some doing keeping tabs of all that lot - especially with so many possible actions and reactions presenting complex scenarios. All I can say is well played sir. You have my full respect. And thanks for sorting it out! <ok>

MITO is the only one that's made comprehensive notes like that (twice so far). Milk hosted a couple and Astro the other but can't recall seeing many notes form them.

To be fair, on the first day or so there's not really anything else to go on than past behaviour.

If you look at who's generally talkative, BRB, Milk and yourself weren't playing, Gerrez cut right back, I stopped after midday on Monday, afcftw was the cop and Astro was farily restrained. It was only Biscan and Bod left of the talkers, and Bod died fairly early as well. Compare that with people like Magic, Valley and Obi Wan who said very little all game, BobbyD, Morgan, Swarbs and RHC who only made comments sporadically, for whatever reason. And the fact that everyone seemed to make their minds up early about who was going to die and everyone more-or-less just went along with it. Generally you knew by lunchtime, or even the night before, who was going to be lynched.

Basically, if you're on the mafia team, you need to hope you don't have MITO, AFC, Bod, Biscan, RHC, BRB, Milk or Astro on your team [HASHTAG]#regulartargets[/HASHTAG]

I would have said me but I'm still the most successful player ;)

You had none of those on your team but you still lost?

Also, how do you and Bod always come across as so suspicious, even when you're innocent?

Bizarrely enough, voting patterns (what few there were) were really unhelpful this time. The only ones that really stood out were Astro and RHC (not connected) and Trev and BobbyD (not connected).

Also love the bit on the Italians' board where Valley thinks they should target Trev, until Morgan points out that he's Trev <laugh>

I mentioned the voting patterns to MITO in my game convo. Nobody was looking at this bar Swarbs linking the two Geordies.

I put it down to a few things:
- not as active game;
- not everyone getting votes in early and waiting to see what happens; and
- Mafia not being at serious threat (bar Swarbs on the last night, I think the only one was Valley on the second night?)

I also noted those on the Russian board, but obviously couldn't post here. I agree with all your points. Also, Milk's normally good at shepherding and herding people into at least placing votes, and he wasn't around.

Just catching up and reading through all the boards, to be fair don't think the Russkies got too hard done by by MITO, their different secret ability was super easy and given generously by MITO when they didn't have anything to do with it, whilst by comparson the Italian's had to swing a vote in the last hour which is both hard and would've completely given them away. Also they were randomly allowed to do their day 2 kill in the daytime when they wouldn't have been able to afford it otherwise which also allowed them to spend money before it was halved. And then Nozzer was allowed to be ghost Don and guide the other guys all game. If anything he helped them out big time haha! Was really just the unlucky random discoveries of Nozzer and Swarbs and Danilo getting killed that ****ed them.

Also echo others on MITO's observations, found them really interesting.

And for reference I would be down for another game since this one was so quick if someone wanted to set another up.

I survived until the last night... Hardly much of a target!

For anyone too lazy to read and find things out, this is who was who (after the 'Magic announcement')...

Personally I think it was the fact there were two teams of mafia, and for a decent portion of the game there was only 2 on each team. Finding voting patterns in a team of 5 or 6 can be very achievable and powerful, but with two seperate teams of 3 or 2 it's pretty easy for the mafia to not be doughnuts and match their votes.

We've played two teams before and it happened. I didn't need to that time as I was on the winning mafia team :)

Yeah haha have to say as pretty much the first thing that happened after I was recruited that didn't fill me with confidence in my new mafia brethren!. <laugh>

All's well that ends well though.

One of the classified's talked about meeting Astro in the library - what was that all about? At first I thought it was afcftw wanting to meet him on the Arsenal board, what with the Emirates being a library. After that didn't turn up anything, I thought maybe it was Gerez wanting to meet him on the Mansfield board. Also not the case. Still don't know what was meant. What was the idea?

Up until the last nightfall there had been 1,250 comments. That's an average of around 250 comments per day.

This is the 1,460th coment meaning there have been 210 comments in the last four hours <laugh>
