I believe most of the hits made were made at a time based on prior games only

Bodanki was, swarbs recruit certainly was, gerrez wanted to kill biscan on day 2 but was blocked. The danilo death and recruit were both on rep

All the early action was based on prior rep and others like obi and Morgan and valley got off and were hardly looked at.

Astro too really.

Lol i only went after Astro cause he was 1. suspicious to me, 2. the classified, 3. I just felt like hitting him :D

I agree on the slowness I felt there was a couple of reasons

1. Poster type and hours people were on. There was little spark

2. Team choices. There were 1/3 of players trying to hide so they were let hide by town.

3. No milk, no me.... No obsessions

4. The hanging of nozzer dropped activity Tuesday and nobody pushed it since. It was everyone's voted one way and that's just that

5. I thought on Wednesday maybe the form of the voting table was different. Last games we had yet to vote on the table and anyone hanging on had to justify not voting. This time I don't recall a single time really the fact not everyone voted on any day was brought up

I wasn't as active as usual either (still one of the most active which says a lot for the game) as I was off work but that does my position too.

I think people have learnt from previous games too. Talk a lot and you'll get targeted.

As already established, I killed Danilo on the first night partly based on a gut feeling but mainly because I know how he played before. Quiet but clever working things out, he waits until the third or fourth day and reveals things. I needed to avoid that.

Ironically, I escaped attention when I'm usually targeted. Still can't believe a didn't get a single vote after the first day.

so.... is anyone going to make a new mafia?

I've said in the past that if be willing to but can't commit to the times. I work 8.30 to 4.30 then the Mrs goes work 5-8 (she can't drive so i have to five her there and back) and we've got three kids. Only way I could do it is if we went for random times for nightfall and newspaper etc and people aren't keen.

Wow, just read the observation board, thats some great comprehensive notes you have their MITO <ok>
Didnt really appreciate how much effort the host puts in until I read that.

Enjoyed this game though

EDIT: Not quite aure why I had a facepalm smiley on this!! Its late and I am tired

That's what I thought. No way I'd be able to commit to managing a game like that with work/family commitments.

However MITO feels about making one or two 'mistakes', that takes some doing keeping tabs of all that lot - especially with so many possible actions and reactions presenting complex scenarios. All I can say is well played sir. You have my full respect. And thanks for sorting it out! <ok>

I made a few tongue in cheek comments to MITO about his 'decisions' on the Russian board, but then I was the prossie, my tongue was is everyone's cheeks!!

To be fair, on the first day or so there's not really anything else to go on than past behaviour.

If you look at who's generally talkative, BRB, Milk and yourself weren't playing, Gerrez cut right back, I stopped after midday on Monday, afcftw was the cop and Astro was farily restrained. It was only Biscan and Bod left of the talkers, and Bod died fairly early as well. Compare that with people like Magic, Valley and Obi Wan who said very little all game, BobbyD, Morgan, Swarbs and RHC who only made comments sporadically, for whatever reason. And the fact that everyone seemed to make their minds up early about who was going to die and everyone more-or-less just went along with it. Generally you knew by lunchtime, or even the night before, who was going to be lynched.

Very much this, on both points.

Also, I don't know how it felt for those that were still active, but this game just really seemed to drag after the first day, with little pockets of action where things seemed to heat up, then it just died down again. Normally the last hour or two before nightfall have high drama, but nothing happened the last four nights. No-one was talking to each other.

I know I had quite a role in that on days two, but still <whistle>

Thatsbecause wveyone fllowed the only known innoent in afc. Def less fun than previous ones where was tonnes of lads minute voting <ok>

Also, how do you and Bod always come across as so suspicious, even when you're innocent?

Bizarrely enough, voting patterns (what few there were) were really unhelpful this time. The only ones that really stood out were Astro and RHC (not connected) and Trev and BobbyD (not connected).

Also love the bit on the Italians' board where Valley thinks they should target Trev, until Morgan points out that he's Trev <laugh>
