My understanding is, we can all submit something for the paper bit the Journalist chooses what to actually print.

yes in the classifieds. in the main paper body you have a town aligned journo (unless recruited) writing what he saw (unless hacked once) and in the classified you might have anything at all from anyone anonymously placed...

Whizzed through the last few pages, to clarify I put absolutely nothing in the paper, I guess from what MITO said that was the journalist. afcftw locking me up may be a decent idea as I believe it makes the mafia killing me much more expensive, and given the Russians are already broke it could empty the Italian coffers if they wanted to hit me. Not that effective though as it only possibly keeps me alive one more night.

I am starting to get a bit paranoid about secret actions though now to be honest, I'll be pretty salty if it turns out to be the case as it seems like a massively overpowered ability. The fact the Italian mafia seemingly didn't act last night is what makes me wary, the only thing they could be saving money for is to kill the cop, which wouldn't be too surprising to be fair. Just seems to coincidental to be true though, the Italian mafia using some ability to alter the witness statement to Nozzer recruiting Danilo, on the same night the Russian mafia actually recruit someone and Danilo dies turning out to be Russian mafia, that would be a crazy set of circumstances. Either way, if Nozzer comes out innocent I have to be lynched there's no two ways about, that's just the process you have to go through unfortunately though it would set us back to night 4 before we can actually start making progress.

Are you going to put things in the op? Things like lynch results, night actions and archived newspapers?
