Can I ask a question about the journo role MITO? Does he need cash to investigate? The mafia need cash to do stuff obviously but surely the journo wouldn't (as he's a journo). The paper front page says that the classifieds "really are our lifeblood" so surely that means journo has to pay for actions or gets his power through the ad's somehow (or am I missing something obvious as usual <laugh>).
 
The witness in the paper says there were two men running from the scene...

That would tie up with Nozzer being the 2nd (first being the serial killer) as he was there then ran away after trying to convince him to join their Mafia team.

Mito - clarification on the witness statement.

How is does it work... Do you tell the witness what they saw and you write it in the paper to confirm or do you tell the witness and then they confirm what they want written in the paper?

I think Nozzer looks doomed and not much else is happening. Could be a Mafia influence on Mikey but I don't think we should be making assumptions like that, the game hard enough as it is without adding potential rulings <laugh>

Who would you like to see lynched? Ie who do you want me to vote for?

Ta gamesmaster <ok> So basically he gets cash....must be able to spend it on something etc...the paper says "lifeblood" so we can assume there's a probability classifieds either get him powers or he just gets rich at our expense :grin: Either way it's probably a good thing for town to send in as many as possible.

So we know we have chief suspect number 1 - Nozzer...fingered by Mikey (obligatory <yikes>). By doing this Mikey has his head above the parapit for tomorrow if Nozzer's innocent. Could mafia have forced Mikey to say what he did? Or if Mikey is deliberately sowing the seeds for mafia he'd surely be lower order (why risk a higher member).

This gives us two names of whom Nozzer looks doomed and if guilty the russkies are imploding fast. The Italians are sitting pretty however. No action taken last night that we know of by them so we can be certain they will recruit tonight surely. Is there a limit on actions per night other than cash reserves? Who might they recruit? I know who I'd go for.....but then he might already be one.....<doh> brain hurting again.
 
I'm trying to think who could be linked and who could possibly be the other Mafia members.

Unfortubately quite a te a few people are still being very quiet... valley is one that usual speaks a bit more than he has been...?

Magics been very quiet and was the same last game when he was Mafia...

RHC hasn't said much, perhaps not wanting to be as obvious as he was last game where he near enough gave away the fact he was the vigilante... Perhaps he has a Mafia role and has been told to be quiet and not give it away?

the witness is a dog walker or some such who blunders across something. they have choice of how to get info they see out. I tell them what they see. I have not commented at all on anything thats been said by anyone.

the journalist is different and the jounalist themselves created the article format you saw. I can neother confirm nor deny anything about hacking of said paper.

Ok so, the witness writes what goes in the paper. That means what is written ties up with nozzers story about 2 people being seen... So unless he's been forced to lie on here and the paper he must be speaking the truth?

I've not been as active but that's a combination of being off work and not having a lot to say.

Been near enough as active as me, only 10 or so posts ahead.

True ue about magic.. Problem is if he's town or Mafia we have no way of really knowing unless someone investigates as can't gauge anything from his responses or voting patterns.
