We aren't getting Maddison and for the prices quoted I'd prefer Pacquetta.

I'd be happy with Werner but am not entirely sure what role he fills, I'd worry we'll play him as a central forward and he'll just disappoint.

Controversially I'd be happiest with Cornet. He fits exactly into a role we need, his numbers were good last season in the premiership (his first season and one where he went off to AFCON midway through iirc), and the price is very good.

Miggy is always fine in no pressure games. Different gravy in PL.

Wilsons looked poor. Wood is garbage. I’d love Maddison, cracking player, but we desperately need a striker.

Why can’t we get Maddison? Genuine question.

If we are going to get to the top 8 we have to start getting that level of quality?

Cornet is crap aswell.

I would much prefer Sarr.
