The Accrington Town owner has said that Taylor studded the keeper. I have to say that is what I saw too.

Goodbye to any chance of reaching the play-offs, let alone automatic promotion. Rank bloody stupidity!!!

Total zero points from the next 3 games

The Accrington owner has obviously been affected by eating too much of Weegie Addick’s banana pie at the weekend.

Publicity hungry little bugger - needs to spend more time sorting the portakabins out at his non league ground.

I think we're going to have Peterborough on Saturday even without Lyle Taylor.

Looking at the top of League One there are 5 teams in with a shout for automatic promotion.
Then there is a gap back to Peterborough and Doncaster, both with only 6th place to play for.

Their form is poor - only 3 wins from their last 12 games.
Yes they went to Accrington and whacked then 0-4, while we needed a penalty at home to scrape a win.
But that aside, Posh look pretty ordinary to me.

Lyle Taylor’s value to this team was there for all to see today. His absence stood out like Elfs in Spearmint Rhino.

I would go as far as to say Taylor is the talisman for this team, not just for his goals
and assists, but for the way he can hold the ball up and play in the likes of Reeves and Williams,

We were powderpuff without him today.

Today’s news about Grant also showed that without a takeover (<laugh>) we are very unlikely to keep Lyle Taylor beyond this summer.

Word has it that you have a lifetime membership.

The way I see it, you back the manager. He [Duchatelet] has decided he doesn’t want to back the manager. I don’t know what his reasons are. I’m sure he has his reasons, because most people do for the things they do.

There is absolutely nothing we can do about it in the dressing room.
Would we have liked another one in, so that we change games? Yeah. Are we going to get that opportunity? Absolutely not.

What can we do? I feel for the manager, Steve Gallen [head of recruitment] and the staff in general – they must just feel they are banging their head against a brick wall. That’s similar to how the fans seem to feel.

I don’t think it is going to change. I don’t know if he [Duchatelet] is even going to sell the club. He doesn’t seem to be that interested in anything Charlton, or anything helping Charlton at the moment.”

Lyle Taylor's own words.

A player who wants his team to have ambition and to be backed by its Club.
He was probably sold that lie when he agreed to join Charlton in the first place.
Now he knows better.
