Terrible defensive mistakes. McLoughlin has been threatening to do that for a while. Tries to be too cool, which is great when it comes off but embarrassing if it doesn't. Still one of the best performers of the season, though. Jones' mistake was almost as bad and set the tone. But they were a lot better than us and had us sussed.

There was a lot of crap today. People like to get on Docherty's back, but he wasn't the reason for the defeat. Eaves was ok and scored. Not his fault the defence played like numpties.

I can’t understand the stark contrast between our home versus away form.

A fairly average Championship team Luton have just gone third in the Championship. Third! Nothing special at all.

Doc of last season excellent, but Slater shouldn't have been dropped for him today.

As for Eaves, i just wish we would play someone alongside him, sticking him up top makes him look worse than he actually is. He does seem to win more headers in a defensive role (set pieces etc) than he does up top.

What was slater doing on the bench when he's much more effective than the doc currently? and shota should have changed it as soon as we went 2 down as it obviously wasn't working.

Slater has been better than Doc in centre-mid and even better than Longman on the right in the few times he’s played there recently.
