Left with Torres. Fantastic.
Source?
And Drogba and Costa which is far better than Arsenal strikers Sanogo and Giroud tbf.
There is always that.
You gotta think our striker options are on par with Arsenal and Liverpools now (Sanogo and Giroud, Studge and Lambert)
United with Rooney and RVP still very good if RVP stays fit, but City still own all in the striker section imo.

That's one of several.
Greg O'Keefe the EFC journo from the Liverpool Echo has tweeted he's signed, to be annouced later tonight
How are Everton affording him Tobes? Got to be 20 million plus which is quite a bit above what you normally spend and you have no notable out goings to fund the deal. Very surprised he's going to Everton to be honest.
The kid had potential but doesn't want to fight for a place at a C.L club. You can't expect to just be guaranteed a start at a top European side at his age. He'd have got plenty of games if he'd have stayed. Costa even if he remains fit wont play every week.
The new TV deal put £30m of unaccounted for cash into our coffers, plus Martinez chose not to spend the Fellaini windfall in Jan, so we knew there was money to spend this summer.
He patently didn't fancy the bench at Chelsea, as opposed to a starting berth at Goodison, plus I just don't think Mourinho was having him, for whatever reason
Our best signing since Kanchelskis ffs, and after young Ross commited to a new deal yesterday, a real statement of intent by Everton.

They still have £12-13 million left over from Afroman. And the extra cash from the TV deal, which I think will be burning a few holes in many club's pockets this season.
Tbh I can't say I blame him for wanting out. He's outscored all Chelsea strikers in both loan seasons, but both summers Chelsea have been out looking for strikers before a ball's been kicked. Doesn't show much faith in his abilities imo.

He requested a loan last season.
He was given a chance. Against Torres and Eto'o, and had he stayed, he would have won his place, seeing as our strikers were **** last season.
But he wanted a guarantee from Jose, before a ball had been kicked, of a certain amount of play time, and Jose wasnt prepared to be held to ransom by a mouthy journeyman.
Truth be told, now we have signed Costa and Drogba is back, I can see why he would want to move, his chance was last season and he blew it.
New chapter could mean a number of things, including staying at Chelsea.
