WTF is happening here? Suarez is still our player. But Barcelona are praising him and defending him with FIFA? How does that work?

Even before the negotiations have finished and an agreement reached.

In any case, it is looking that he is moving on. I must say that however good he was I am relieved. He has far too much baggage and provided we use the money well we could come out of it with lots of pluses.

You will be third seeds more likely, so it is very possible you could get them in the group stage!!
That would be interesting.
 
saying that, if you get them in the group stage. Suarez will be banned for the first game between the clubs
 
Suing FIFA I do not think Uruguay or Liverpool are going to succeed under Vicarious Liability. I am not sure if Liverpool can sue Suarez.

Why are Barcelona spending so much on a striker where they already have Messi & Neymar that can play up front?

Probably their strongest position. They must have a really big budget or they are choosing to ignore their problem areas for a marquee signing.

I don't know if Liverpool could sue Suarez (I certainly don't care if Uruguay could), howevere what would be the point? Suarez's personal wealth would be nowhere near sufficient to pay the legal fees for tking action against him!
