Best side won tonight no complaints, Wrong team selection plus bony, leon, Richards and routs were poor. Shelvey was the only player to show some enthusiasm and at least tried to get the ball going forward but bony was not there he was behind 4 players that i counted for most of the game. poor place for the main striker to be in and lessened our chances of ever getting a goal.

You have to be watching the match on a mirror'd TV set. How can you possibly say that Shelvey showed enthusiasm; I've seen wilted plants look more alive.

Shelvey was everything tonight that Monk has assailed him for being. Lazy in defending and tracking back. Lacking in self-control and if the officials were also not total **** would have been sent off - there are certainly refs out there that would have jumped all over that elbow situation to reduce us to 10. Unprofessional in his antics with Lallana at the near post that led to the own goal. He must think he's untouchable.

Utter ****. Routs and Dyer were crap all game, Bony was given **** all other than that one header. Feel bad for Richards, did very little wrong but got taken off whilst our wingers stayed on.

Why he took bony off for gomis seemed strange considering we were 3-1 down, our gameplan wssnt workjng, so why not go two up top and play hoof ball, at least try and change it.

Ki should have started, criminal not to start our best player this season.

I know some will disagree, but for me Taylor was our best player tonight.

We made a crap Liverpool look like Barcelona, I never thought that was possible, but we managed it!.................<ok>

Well, we better put this behind us very quickly and get back to basics against QPR, if were not prepared to roll up our sleeves and be prepared to put up a fight, then they will turn us over.

I reckon Shelvey was responsible for the 3rd goal also (Lallana's decent one)...
We were pressing high up the pitch, Sakho escapes by playing a short pass inside, Shelvey (who is nearest to him) stands, points and moans instead of chasing back.....which is absolutely ****ing TYPICAL Shelvey.
Liverpool go straight up the other end, the ball is fed into Coutinho who has found a lot of space and Williams feels he needs to snuff it out there. Williams gets done by a 1 touch pass into the space in behind him. Lallana is breaking a neck to make that run in behind and picks up the ball in a great position with a back pedalling defence at his mercy....Where is Shelvey? Standing and pointing at HIS man that HE should have been tracking.
The defence is scrambling trying to get a block in as Lallana evades them and pops it in the corner....where is Shelvey? ****ing WALKING.

Tonight really summed up all the reasons why he will never be a top player (the laziness, the indiscipline, the sulking, the lack of professionalism at the corner) I used to think that as he was homegrown, cost £5m and could contribute a few Prem goals every now and then that he was worth having around but I don't think I can stomach the **** and his strolls anymore.

That said, Monk played that situation all wrong in hindsight. I think the public criticism on the eve of the game increased the pressure on Shelvey and it is clear that instead of rising to the occasion when the heat is on he sticks 2 fingers up....and why he wasn't subbed god only knows.

Not blaming Shelvey for the loss, they were all ****....one of the worst performances we've put in since we've been in the Prem, but I really have had enough of him in particular.
It's a good job we already have 28 points as that was the kind of performance that can knock all the confidence out of a team.

100% agree Terror.

they may as well have sent them the 3 points by post rather than turn up and not bother giving it 100% ! not a shaddow on the team that got us up here ! And Monk cant be blameless for it either. 23% happy with that **** game.

Fabianski should know better than to kick across goal with a player coming in on him.Clear into the stand and regroup.Shelvey, well, not switched on,too busy winding up.For a 22 year old his fitness is dreadful.Monk knows this.
4-1,ok.Take those errors out of the game and we were still in it.
Gomis, unlucky, another day and those two efforts go in.
Monk, sorry but your team from the off was wrong.Your subs were wrong. And I say here and now your management days here at Swansea are coming to a close.
So disappointed, along with you all.
Tomorrow's media will tell us L'pool have turned the corner and are now in for a CL place.Yeah ok.
Get it right Monk v QPR.We need you to,and you need it.

I personally don't want to see a Swansea manager under pressure when he has 28 points at the halfway stage and has us sitting in the top 10.
In fact, I don't like the idea of changing managers mid season full-stop.
The performance was **** but we need to keep perspective.

While our performances are dropping off we have still managed to secure points, but tonight was a complete and utter mess, no organisation, no keep ball, no defending, and no fight or guts, just feel we are maybe at a crossroads, and with Bony, Ki and Monty out next month, January could be a very long month!............<ok>

I haven't read what's been said before, and I don't really care what's said in response to me, but if a winger isn't on our January transfer list then I'm going to go mental. I hate to say it, but Routledge and Dyer are past it. Neither of them can take on their man, neither have the confidence to even try. Dyer's pace has gone, typified by him being utterly outpaced by Moreno at one point in the second half. Routledge gives the ball away more than he keeps it and too often is standing miles from his supposed touchline. When the team sheet was announced and I saw that Dyer and Routledge were starting and Barrow also had an illness, I knew we were in for a long night. Neither give us any go forward and consistently play the ball backwards, nullifying almost all of our attacking threat. When they do size up their man, they lose the ball. When there is space ahead of them, they refuse to run with the ball into it. Tonight, both were useless.

We solidified when Ki came on. Gomis looked good which bodes well for January. Taylor and Rangel played well. Shelvey wasn't a complete disaster but definitely showed off his lazy side once again. He is not a defensive midfielder and I never want to see him play defensive midfield again!

Rant over. Someone got a punchbag for me to let off some steam??

Oh well , **** happens...Im to happy to be upset with anything from an away game at Anfield , especially looking at the superb spot we hold in the table . only one thing to say really...NEXT !!
