Even using their figures, it wouldn't make up the £40m+ difference in our wage bills, would it? Gross spending is irrelevant, too. When we lost Berbatov and Keane for about £52m were we just supposed to sit on it? Wilshere's displaying utter stupidity with those comments. Even if he feels like that, he's only alerting the officials to what he'd like to do. Where's the benefit in that? Wenger needs to have a real word with him about his attitude and the company that he keeps. He's an excellent prospect and he's in danger of throwing it away by acting like a total chav.
He's one of the more decent Gooners, Rebelspur. We actually used to have a couple of regular Arsenal fans on the Spurs 606 board, when it was decently run. Even the guy that copied the 'Converstation with the average Gooner' video (Piskie) was a fairly regular visitor. It's possible to have sensible debates and even decent banter between opposing fans on a forum like this, if it's properly moderated. Far better than the WUMfest and dribbling idiocy that 606 descended into.
