Transferleague is pretty inaccurate, leaving out the revenue from several transfers during that time and ignoring the add-ons for Darren Bent, that were all paid up when he left Sunderland for Villa.
Even using their figures, it wouldn't make up the £40m+ difference in our wage bills, would it?

He's one of the more decent Gooners, Rebelspur.
We actually used to have a couple of regular Arsenal fans on the Spurs 606 board, when it was decently run.
Even the guy that copied the 'Converstation with the average Gooner' video (Piskie) was a fairly regular visitor.
It's possible to have sensible debates and even decent banter between opposing fans on a forum like this, if it's properly moderated.
Far better than the WUMfest and dribbling idiocy that 606 descended into.
