London

I'm still beeling that you can get a 1 bedroom flat in Central London for the same price as I was paying for a 1 bedroom next to Pittodrie. <grr>

Aberdeen is an actual joke.
Aberdeen looks about the same rental costs as Hitchin, London is far more expensive.

49 1 bed flats under £800/month in Aberdeen:

184 in all of London but most of those are flat shares:

The outcome of this thread is that Britain is full of spastics and London has the largest population in Britain and is also the Capital therefore it is the spastic Capital of the country.

If I started at a normal time like 8 or 9am it would take me about an hour to go 3 miles from home to work.

not bad. Takes me 15mins to drive (traffic <steam>, 45mins to walk & 0.5 seconds to teleport

People moan about the tube but it does a good job of getting you from A to B quickly enough. Yes it's over priced and over crowded but probably not a lot they can do about that really.

I walk to my job in < 20mins

Got offered another job in London yesterday, am debating moving back up again...

Dolphin Square?

They ought to shoot Harvey Proctor up with Sodium Pentathol or water board him and they'd soon get to the bottom (bon mot) of all the goings on there.
