Fair play to their manager. He’s taken a team of players who on talent alone would struggle to get a top half finish and got auto promotion. Can’t knock that at all. And for all the fans from Leeds, well done. It’s just the ****ing drips from other cities who felt a need to support them with no connection to the city of Leeds. They’re the Liverpool of the championship. Good team overachieving with a great manager and a fan base that’s 97% deluded inadequate thundercunt

Off FB from a Liverpool fan (in his 30s) with no connection to Liverpool. Guessing Leeds were being mildly successful (a small window) when the old man started being a “big Leeds supporter”. I’m also guessing I’ve been to Elland Rd, Anfield & Stamford Bridge more times than the lot of them combined.

I was mildly irritated by the misspelling of obviously, somewhat irked by the linguistic redundancy of return back, annoyed by the use of Premiership (and the juvenile abbreviation prem), but the sick came in response to the whole ****itudiness of the families mercenary approach to 'supporting' a football club.


You don't choose, it's given.






And then you're stuck with it forever as we all ****ing well know.

One of which had a Leeds U flag hung out of his bedroom window yesterday on Cottingham Road. FFS, must have been difficult keeping it quiet for the past 20 years. Genuine Leeds fans, well done and good luck to you. To the coat tail hangers on from Hull, get to **** you phoney bastards.

Bobby died a few days short of 11 years ago. I went to sign the book of condolence at St. James Park and spent time walking through the thousands of tributes and scarves left within the stadium. It was a truly moving experience.


The game (and indeed, the world) needs more people like him.

Always seems to me Leeds Utd's successes and failures are always intrinsically linked to Hull City from when Don Revie took the knowledge he'd learnt at City to Leeds to those glory years ending with Billy Bremner coming to us then their second glory spell ending with Adam Pearson quitting for us followed by Nicky Barmby and Michael Bridges. Its happened again with their third potential successful era starting with their captain Liam Cooper being a Hull lad.

Met him in the Exec box (guest of KCOM) when City, managed by Molby got spanked by Luton (ironically). Chatted about City and Shearer (he'd just returned from acl injury). Was in complete awe of him (don't think he realised). A true gent....

Ironic that about Laim Cooper. I remember his debut for us at Liverpool alongside a big clumbersome lump who made such an impression with us that his name escapes me and Torres ran them ragged.
The irony is our back four was crying out for someone like Cooper on Tuesday night when we folded like a pack of cards in a hurricane against Wigan.

It always amazes me how many cars in Hull with vermin stickers in the back window seem to have coin/key.scratch marks down the side.
