Again Remy has been a class act for us.
Does anyone know for sure what clauses etc were in his contract in terms of a permanent signing after the loan?
I really hope we make his move permanent but I fear his form will attract more interest from teams willing to pay bigger wages.

Don't think there was a buy option included in the loan but rumour is his release fee is around 8mil I think. Doubt we'll see him at QPR again if he carries on like this.

I saw him last season when QPR beat Saints at St Mary's and he looked a really good player. You lot will be fine with him and Cabaye I'm sure.

One of the few to have performed consistently. If we'd managed to keep Ba, I think they'd have been a stunning combo because seems to enjoy playing left.

Remy - Ba - HBA .... *drool*

Edit:... HBA on a good day!

Good call by Pards today on HBA. Hopefully he takes it the right way. Don't get me wrong he has fantastic talent and I think you have to accept some of the workrate issues, but we are not good enough to carry players. Too often when he has a couple of good games on the bounce, he then goes missing in the next few. Obviously he can't be match winner every game and others have to step up, but at the same time he must get better than this boom or bust. He is either a 5 or a 10. A few 7's replacing the 5's is what he needs to aim for.

Yeah he did, he was such a misfit in that crap team.

I have to ask, does he have a court date set, I seem to remember that he did.

It's unfortunate for him he couldn't justify a move to a bigger club. I suspect there's probably an agreement which'd let him go in January, that's how we do business now <wah>...

Imagine him as an option for Liverpool, Arsenal or Man Utd? The first two are light in the striker department, and the latter just need improvement. I think they'd be much stronger title contenders with Remy in their squads.

He'd definitely be a good addition for us (Liverpool), but would he want to be third in line?

I can see him going to Everton when Lukaku goes back, or staying with you guys. He strikes me as the type of player that wants to play, and not just sit on the bench for the sake of money <ok>

I reckon if he plays a good season for the rest and manages to get near the France squad he could stick with us. look at players like Ba; awesome for us and West Ham but at Chelski it doesn't get going. not a bad player, just went above his realistic comfort zone. Like Ben Arfa, I think Remy is at a level where if he goes any higher, he stops being the integral part of the team and finds he actually can't play a way not tailor made for him. I reckon the humble attitude since joining us is warming things up for a permanent move but, who knows, perhaps it is a Ba-esque case of quietitis

This got me thinking. If Pardew managed Cristiano Ronaldo would he be questioning his work rate like this?
