Tertiary education yes.Totally agree. Most of it is still being delivered online anyway in some Unis.
Secondary education needs to stay open but with limitations

A lot of Uni students ignore the rules.
Yep. Seen it myself. Groups of them hammered on shandy staggering around the town. They think they are so clever yet fail to realise that it’s their ****ing generation who will be paying for the increasing costs of dealing with Covid due to their negligence... oh and there will be a lot less jobs for the selfish ****s to come out of uni to.
was that last party they had to have really worth it?
Whatever floats your boatOriginal press conference expected at 4, then 5, now 6:30. A typical example of how we’ve gone about COVID. Useless, unorganised.
I like Sturgeon me.
Mate, no one gives a flying f*** that I lose work, can't claim, but still have bills to pay. Regarding schools, my oldest daughter teaches at a primary and she and many others have had the virus. The virus definitely spreads at school. They should be shut.At least look at the data when its published. This isn't "them" and "their" lockdown - whatever grievance you have with the government. This is every scientist and analyst with access to the data telling the government to order a lockdown. In fact those advisers wanted a 'harder' lockdown and sooner. This is a lockdown for everyone, to save lives.
You are basically saying #### lives if you say #### the lockdown.

Primary schools should not be having major issues if done properlyMate, no one gives a flying f*** that I lose work, can't claim, but still have bills to pay. you should get refunds mate
I genuinely do feel sorry for the position you find yourself in through no fault of your own. My youngest is self employed and also falls through the cracks in the system. It’s not the lockdown at fault it’s the support system which needs to be improved so that no one falls through the cracks. Further made farcical by some big companies abusing the system eg Sports Direct by working furloughed workers and NUFC furloughing staff but still paying thousands of pounds a week to players.Mate, no one gives a flying f*** that I lose work, can't claim, but still have bills to pay. On schools and children I have never quite got my head round why children don’t have to wear masks etc. Surely masks are for two reasons. The first is to protect yourself from others passing the virus on to you and the second is to protect others from you passing on the virus. Yes, children are apparently less susceptible to the virus but they can still pass it on. Can anyone explain it to me?
Well in my school the kids have to wear masks in corridors and communal areas but not in lessons as they are in their bubble. They are also allowed you wear it in class of that want to. Problem with this is then behavioural isues.
However, I would say 30% of the kids in my school appear to think it's a joke.
Why?Lockdown for 6 weeks, open it up. Lockdown for 6 weeks from January. Rinse and repeat.
Why?
