May have already been discussed on here but can't be arsed to check back. So London teams and Liverpool can welcome fans back into their stadiums after 2nd Dec. Does anyone else not think that this may give home teams a slight unfair advantage over the away teams? 2000 fans is not a lot granted, but it's more than none. They shouldn't be allowing fans in stadiums until all stadiums are allowed to do so.

Is it just home fans as well or are away fans allowed to attend? For example, Chelsea host Leeds next weekend. If I were a Leeds fan living in London in theory I would be allowed to attend...assuming that Chelsea are allowing away fans in.

****ing joke this is all turning out to be......Boris and his merry band are an absolute bunch of ****ing weapons now like. I hope Nick Forbes and whoever is in charge at GMBC are happy....they were begging the government for this before Lockdown2.

It's a rip yes. But most London clubs fans are quiet anyway so there will be no difference

100% should not be allowed. Absolutely ridiculous suggestion to give teams an advantage. Its got to be all or nothing. I suppose we shouldn't be surprised and I'm sure some obedient soul will be along to tell you 2000 fans aren't going to make a difference and its a small price to pay to begin to return to normality, thus just ignoring the premise of fair competition

As for Tier 3, just comical. We were in Tier 2 prior to lockdown with councils pushing to move to Tier 3. The rate of infection is now 16-17% lower but we're in Tier 3? <laugh><laugh><laugh> There are other factors, but none seem to suggest we should be in Tier 3, none are worse than prior to lockdown, and none are as relevant as their rate of infection (which they can't actually accurately claim to know due to their pointless testing).

Fun and games continue. All without any logical, scientific, or transparent debate. But hey the masses are good with it so we may as well crack on <cheers> The most hilarious thing of all is many of the same folk who think this is all necessary, also seem to want Xmas opened for 5 days. Xmas must be worth killing a few grannies for <laugh>

Main upshot is we cannae go for a pint.

Aye, the virus apparently has some festive spirit and won't infect anyone for the 5 days over christmas. Think more people are dying of flu now (and have been for a good while now) ironically. Local leaders need to be ****ing hammering central government now to get this reviewed before lockdown ends. How the **** London gets to be in Tier 2 when cases are doing the exact opposite there to virtually everywhere else in the country is ****ing beyond me !

NCL has twice the average UK cases for covid lads. It's like 340 and the UK average is 168.
That's why we are in Tier 3. If it does continue to drop we will get moved down.
****s just can't stop themselves going out to parties etc.. sadly that's why we are where we are.

I’d agree it’s unfair as it stands, away fans aren’t allowed btw.

The councils own data suggests otherwise:

Off twitter.
The North East is like the kid who just can't keep their hands out the cookie jar when their waistline is bulging. It's sad but true.
I know **** loads of folk who 'hate boris' and 'do what they like' and for months have just cracked on spreading the deadly virus with their heads in the sand.
It's even worse in deprived areas like Chester Le Street and 5under1and.

I don't need your data mate, the BBC told me the craic. Which is its hiding round every corner, so just stay home. Yes the tier system makes no sense, but lets not get bogged down in facts <laugh> Just follow the advice blindly.

Even when the data clearly says otherwise, people just blindly follow and keep repeating the false rhetoric. I've largely given up and accepted the majority of people are just very malleable sheep. Baa.

Howay man ACS we are trying to be serious for once <laugh>

They are obviously going on the rate per 100000people. There are parts of London that are much higher than the northeast but it looks like they have chosen the lowest areas as representative and stuck them into Tier 2 instead. Its a bit of a farce.

Glad I am out here at the moment where we have no idea what's going on and just have to wear a mask at all times outside the house, wash our hands and social distance.

We are in tier 2 in Cumbria. My daughters school had 95 cases last week. That’s positive cases out of 900 pupils and around 150 staff members.

I know it’s called a cluster but ffs it’s still a very high %.

I also personally know of around 15 positive tests of people in the last week.

It’s not going away folks!

If you read the criteria for deciding what tier a region goes into they are at least 5 things they look at
Yep R rate and cases per 100000 etc but new ones like rate in over 60’s and number of hospital cases which is how we are lumped into tier 3
Yet the nightingale hospital is not in use??
Then they are the 10% you don’t give a **** about anything and go on as normal
No I,m not a sheep by any means and can apply common sense but seriously golf / football crowds / parties etc are you kidding??? Shops / hairdressers opening but not pubs / restaurants?
They should add a new daily figure - self inflicted for all the selfish pricks out there

It’s bonkers some of the things you can and cannot do.

Its getting some totally unnecessary nice refurbishment work done to the air conditioning units etc though <laugh>

Amazing isn't it that Liverpool is in tier 2. No doubt we are going to be told that this is due to the mass testing project they so badly want to be a success at the expense of it actually being a success. So lets do that everywhere. Its just one comical titbit after another from these assclowns. Yet we have people telling us to just follow them blindly like they know what they're doing. They couldn't organise a ****ing one car funeral these ****ers, nevermind have a coherent approach to COVID.

Some uni student in her last year won’t be able to celebrate her 21st birthday in December and is gutted

I won’t be able to sleep tonight

The scummy press spend ages digging around for a negative or a sound bite from someone pissed off. If Boris have everyone a free gold bar some folk would still moan that the bar was too heavy.. and the BBC would lead with it on breakfast news.
