Ignore him Fran. He came on and did fine, looked to receive the ball and create forward momentum, but hardly had time to make a big impact.
I agree, LTL - I thought Gaston looked comfortable on the ball when he came on. The problem was that Bruce couldn't bring him on earlier, I reckon, due to the physicality of the game and the fact that he'd probably have been barged off the ball. I suspect he'll be on at the start against lesser physical teams.

If my comments about Gaston have made an impact on him, then we (and him) are in even bigger trouble than I thought.
There is only ONE person holding back Gaston Ramirez, he'll find him in the mirror.
