    Could you imagine the powers to be at UEFA, BT and the PL and other major football nations voting for a return to the old knock out system.

    Turkeys voting fur Christmas springs to mind <doh>

    I recall Liverpool being knocked out by Forest in the first round in 1978.

    Incidentally Forest then beat the might of AEK Athens, Grasshoppers of Zurich, Cologne and Malmo to win it!
