After listening to the last 5 minutes in the car, I went in the house and put the post match interviews and analysis on. Yes, was amused by Klopp, and equally amused by Lineaker.Watched it from start to finish - awesome game of football and a truly collosal result for them.
Also Klopp said a little bit more than just "unbelievable" in his post match interview on BT Sport. He used a frequently used colloquial adjective before the "unbelievable" that was totally intentional because he said just before "what the hell, it's 10 past 10 so the kids will be in bed" so 'ave some of that and fine me if you like.....
Noticeable that when they cut back to Lineker, he said he was told by the producers to apologise for the profanity but said he wouldn't - good on him.
As for the game itself - probably the most exciting and tense I've watched since City drew with Huddersfield......![]()

Poor thing didn't much care for Klopp or Lineker. But what about the dog?

Cars pulling up and no one coming in sets her off. Bad language and she goes off in a huff.Poor thing didn't much care for Klopp or Lineker.
I so wanted Barca to win but don’t begrudge the scousers.
The Ajax v Barca dream final is now an all Premier League affair; not many will watch that outside of the UK
COYS
I wanted to see a Barca v Ajax final. Why on earth did you want Barca to win - or Ajax for that matter?
I wanted to see a Barca v Ajax final.
Now it’s just another Premier League game which will only be watched in this country.
Disagree OS to a degree.Does it matter? Personally I don't care about anyone not wanting to watch it in Spain, Italy or anywhere else for that matter.
I'm just thrilled that 2 Premier league sides have fought their way to the final at the expense of primadonnas and egotists like Suarez and Messi. Good as they are, they weren't good enough - tough.
If anyone, I feel sorry for that young Ajax team that have been brilliant in this competition. I'm not a massive fan of European football competitions in general like some, but I can appreciate the skill factor in that side. Unfortunately for them, when the crunch came they crumbled under pressure and weren't up to it.
We've got 2 Premier League sides contesting the Champion's League final - to me that's brilliant.
The only downside is they know each other inside out and WE know the style of football we'll get. More interesting when there are teams from different leagues involved, but will possibly feel a bit more connected to this final.

The PL is the playground for the untouchables with the minnows tossed aside.
The Champions League final would have been more enticing if it had say Barca/Ajax v Liverpool/Spurs. The PL v La Liga or the Dutch version.
But it is what it is and whilst I will watch it and whilst it may be a great game, it may also be like that drab affair between Chelsea & Man U.
Back in the day, there was a competition for league winners and a competition for cup winners (aptly named the cup winners cup). Then money came even more to the fore than it had been.I have to say that I've always had a problem with the Champions League as it isn't just a league exclusively for champions. If it was just for the champions you would avoid situations where two clubs from the same country and who didn't win their domestic league, end up contesting to be champions of europe. My votre would be to make it purely for title winners which would allow clubs from lesser national leagues the chance to mix it with the big boys - thus giving them some financial benefit from actually winning their domestic competition.
Yes, there'll be plenty on here that remember our adventures in the ECWC. Halcyon days - or at least they seem like it now.Back in the day, there was a competition for league winners and a competition for cup winners (aptly named the cup winners cup). Now we have a league system followed by a knock out stage over two legs then a final over one leg. How convoluted?
It was good enough in the olden days when it was a straight knock out.
The league stage is just to generate more cash!
Anyway, arsenal appear home and hosed (though the last two nights might dispel that myth), with chelski needing another goal to make it 4 out of 4.
