Anyone else massively disappointed klopp didn’t shed a tear or get emotional.

also those that were annoyed by Slot confirming he is going to be manager are you as upset about klopp announcing it to the stadium before the club announced it as well or does that not count?

Not really. I think he was holding it back and it might come out later. Tbh, I didn't get as emotional as I thought I might watching it. The whole thing seemed more celebratory rather than valedictory in nature.
As for your second question, as one of those who wasn't bothered in the first place I can't answer that - only to reiterate what I said before, that the whole thing is obviously widely accepted so I don't see any need to be coy about it.

He had a tear in his eye in injury time think he was trying to keep it together until later when he is alone and it fully sinks in.

regarding the announcing I feel it’s a very bold move I am sure you can point me to other examples of other managers announcing themselves before the club none come to my mind at the moment. Timing was poor as well as both teams still had a game to play a little disrespectful to Klopp in my opinion. I think it would have been more fitting for Klopp to announce his replacement. If I recall Ferguson said a few words about Moyes on his last game. Like I said it was a bold move quite a few fans are not sure on him myself included but will give him a chance. It just puts a bit of added pressure on him doing that.

Yeah def seemed a lot more of a celebration. I thought vvd seemed to be getting a bit emotional in his interview right after and had a couple short answers almost to get it done and move on.

Im sure as you say the emotion will come out for klopp and the team later on.

It doesn't matter, it's all history and it has been a superb journey from a struggling team to at one point the most feared team in Europe.

I think he was relieved it all went OK, even if it didn't end how they'd have liked with another trophy.

I think he'd hate for it to end up with a couple bad seasons and phoning it in.

I wonder did anyone else notice just one thing in the post match stuff

I'll just leave that out there just to see if anyone noticed the same thing I did.

The one thing I noticed was Klopp referred to Slot as coach then corrected himself to say manager whether it was intentional or not would be up for debate

Never really paid much attention to job titles. I guess they must have a technical difference in responsibilities otherwise why have different ones.

Generally a coach is seen as someone who picks the tactics and trains the players he has. Manager usually has more say in transfers. Did seem to get the impression the club didn’t seem happy with Klopp having so much sway in transfers in the end hence Edward’s coming back now.
