Wouldn’t surprise me if Klopp switches to a 4-2-3-1 with Fab and Hendo covering the back four - would allow one of the full backs to bomb on and be well covered. If he did this it’s either Keita or Thiago sitting in the 3 to break the lines and pop in though balls….I do believe he used Thiago there last season too.

We reverses the central pivot and had 2 sit and one midfielder press up. Jones in many cases and then after about 60mins one of the others would press and two would sit.

With firmino in its not really 4231, and for me with 3 at the back i'd rather leave those 3 marking nobody and hurt them in midfield and in the pocket in front of the three.

I would expect fabinho to sit just completely and trent to be less advanced with whoever is LB higher up. thats 4 men back and no way chelsea should get a run at that.

the other issue for me is who presses up and where. Kieta is natural the guy to go but if robertson (who should start) plays and is advanced then it'll be VVD v Lukaku on his own. What cheslea have been able to do is get azpi forward as well as james so mane must keep azpi honest and worried.
