Well following on from the Burnley win we next have our first “big” game of the season against a team who we have a pretty good record against having won 4 of the last 5 .The one defeat was last seasons meeting at Anfield when we lost to a Mount goal but considering our home record last season thats hardly a surprise .
We will certainly need a step up in form but on the plus side we should be going into it with a pretty much full squad to select from .

Hope for similar to our last home game of 2019

 

This is the type of game that sets you up for the season, you cannot lose it.

 

I going to go for 1-2 loss I am afraid
Think Lukaku will do for us
Tbh I am just grateful that Leicester or WHam will drop points this round - otherwise we could have been 10th by Tuesday

Anyway we need to improve a lot over today's performance to take on Chelsea.

Got henderson some time. Got vvd doing his thing, forwards scored a couple. In general we just need to step it up a bit for this game.

No we need both players all season and I'd like Bobby in for this one to link up the front 3 a little better.

I reckon we will probably see Henderson and fabinho alright but I couldnt call it for firmino or thiago at this point.

Chelsea will be a tough ask

 

Prediction for Tsimikas if Robertson isn't back for Chelsea.

If Tsimikas plays and makes a mistake, he will show no emotion. If he scores, he will show no emotion. If he wins man of the match, he will show no emotion. If his mother falls out of a helicopter above the stadium and lands at his feet and dies in his arms telling him he was always her favourite son and the light of her life, he will show no emotion.


Great start for the lad, but has anyone else noticed his face is always a blank slab? I tried to figure out what it was that unnerved me about him against Norwich, finally hit me today... He always has a complete poker face on.. he's deputized well so far, if he keeps doing well I will forgive his lack of emotion.

 

Maybe its Ben Davies with a Tsimikas mask on?

 

Maybe he peeled off tsimikas' face like Arya's stark would? Then baked dyche in a pie.
