Very smart, lovely lad. Good footballer who didn't quite make it so chose a different route which is just as much a part in the modern game. I'm sure you're not going to denigrate it, or him.

Superb little footballer. Slot was impressed with him but sees him as needing to grow more physically before he's ready for the PL.

So this looks like we have space to sign 3 foreign players and will be thinking about culling hg numbers a little as Elliott and Bradley will graduate to seniors soon
We have lost adrian, matip and thiago so this explains the scope for more foreign bodies.
Unfortunately for morton he might get this season if very lucky but he's in direct competition for a squad place with 3 real senior options in quansah, bradley and Elliott in future years.
I think a lot of our young players (not kids) are being judged by their ability to full in the b list or if they are over the threshold and are being seen as seniors.
Trent, kelleher, Jones and gomez are the real seniors. Next year bradley, quansah and Elliott will all join them so we are rammed full of club trained players and some inevitably fall out then.
Now there's no maximum that says you can only have 8 but it just goes to show how things are going.
When you look through the squad now and see endo and tsimikas they really stick out like sore thumbs and you have to start questioning if the club should carry those types or carry morton amd carvalho types forward.
The 17 players max really must be the very very best you can muster if you want to compete imo.

I think the transfer bods are working on 15. 16. and 17.
No excuses unlike last year. It was obvious at a certain point we couldn't buy unless someonw left then.
Now there's a fairly clear ability to buy the right player if they become available.

We need a top midfielder to go with macca, maybe one will step up bit it won't be endo.

There's a real opportunity for young players to grab a shirt and a real opportunoty to just go really target class.
We simply don't need another endo or another tsimikas.
Talk of a 6 coming in from outside the PL so there's one spot filled. Angelo Stiller been mentioned. I think Hughes has good contacts in Italy, possibly Spain and Portugal too. Calafiori sounded a good fit but think he's going to Arsenal.
