Absolute garbage from the ref. Nsiala gives another penalty but it should have been a free kick to us ten seconds before that.
That's Nsiala done as a starter, Woolf to come back in next match. You can only keep the shirt if you're playing well and Toto has had a nightmare in the last two matches.
One poor goal, otherwise sounds a good game and fair performance all round with several players having good games. Jeepers, Holy what are you doing! Come on Town!
Woolfy is another class, no question. But Lambert’s judgement is once again in question. Dropping points for problems of our own making.
You are watching live, so who was at fault then Yorkie? However we are where we are, dropping 6 pts in a row, thank goodness we got 2 Home games to come. Its gonna be very tight top 10 this season,
The fault is the manager’s for playing Chambers at right back. He keeps bombing forwards and losing the ball, leaving us exposed to the counter attack. Nsiala is exposed and trips the Lincoln man trying to stop the ball across the box to the space he SHOULD be covering - or at the least should have been filled by the others coming across or a midfielder dropping in. Playing Chambers has also cost us going forward when our attacking play has broken down. He’s not capable of putting crosses in or beating full backs.
Sorry San Diego but I said well BEFORE it happened there was an obvious danger from that situation and it’s exactly where their goal came from. if Donacien or KVY or some other right back from the U23 side is on the pitch that doesn’t happen.
Disappointing result and a really uninspiring second half. Watched it on iFollow and got the impression we played for the goalless draw. A notable lack of attacking urgency and guilty of either overplaying it in the final third or resorting to the old hoof it up to the big man (Hawkins) and trying to feed off scraps. Lambert waited far too long to make any changes and I’d argue players like Nsiala and Hawkins should lose their places to Wolfenden and Sears or Jackson. Another example of us losing against a League One opponent in good form. We’re sleepwalking towards another mid-table finish the way things are going, despite a welcome emphasis on trying to play more attractive football. The issue with this is that as soon as we get beyond the half way line, I haven’t seen any evidence that we can’t break down good teams.
