Yeah usually week and week about! which changes for courses or secondments elsewhere from home base!

Why unfortunately - I have only been up in one once and loved it

 

They had one giving joy rides at a local fete a couple of years back that was very popular. The night before the event the machine was left in a field and someone tried to nick it.

 

Not606 has definitely widened the subject matter of hornets' debate. Helicopters and football, eh...hard to spot the link there...unless it's Chopper Harris against the Blades!

 

Because I hate flying "simples" A helicopter is the most unnatural way to fly!

 

I expect it is also the least safe way - not too many deaths as tehy are small but as a proportion of flights I expect much higher than other forms of aircraft - still tiny compared to cars though

If you go on a per journey basis planes are not quite as good as the industry would have you think!!!!

 

Thanks for that Aberdeen - next time I go to New Zealand I will go by bus at it looks really safe

 

I prefer to sit near the front coz that means you`ve managed to wangle a business class seat
