Wasn’t that around the time of the West Brom game?
If Nige deserved the sack then it should have happened at that point, when it could have been justified.
To sack him after we’d recovered and were becoming difficult to beat was bizarre.

….. but that’s old news now. I’m supporting Liam because he’s our current incumbent - I’d MUCH rather he succeeds than we dipped back into the shark infested sea of new managers.

Spot on, I want LM to succeed too, just don’t think he’s got long to improve things. However if he doesn’t we’ll have to act imo

We all want that but it ain't happening for him-his win record is shocking -should have twisted this window i cannot believe he is being given more time.

Those next ten i struggle to see 3/4 points max.

He was brought in to take us to the next stage, there was no way he wasn’t going to be backed with signings, now they have to perform. He’ll get more time as long as we don’t get too near the bottom, as you said though with the next sequence of games being so tuff, it’s likely we’ll be nudging the relegation places soon.

Yeah that’s right, the football is bloody miserable, it is far, far worse than whoever was in charge previous, don’t know the managers name mind <whistle>.
We were a counter attacking team and it worked for the most part as we had players with pace and technically gifted. They were all together as one, no finger pointing, blaming others and throwing hands in the air ( Twine does this a lot).

He changed to a 4-3-3 and we were quite good to watch, yeah some games were poor but not every week like we are currently seeing.

He did not sell the likes of Semenyo and Scott, he had no choice in that matter in selling our best players.

It’s a huge **** up and Lansdown gets what he deserves, we are not seeing front foot attacking football like they said, they were also going to be better coached on the grass ?.
What a laugh all that is

That’s funny, I thought it had long been established by those that know best on here that our managers have full say in who get signed and who gets sold.

Possibly, but again, it didn’t with your beloved did it, despite all his ‘experience’.
It seems our fans on here have 2 sets of rules, ones that apply to every manager but Nige, and ones that he’s allowed…

Yep Supercon you know as we all do the crown jewels were taken from him and he had to cut cut cut the squad and still kept us in a decent position never near the relegation spots.

That’s right, while not spending a penny in transfer fees according to you:headbang::headbang:or handing out the biggest contract any player at BS3 has ever had, at the time we had ZERO income. Silly me….
You need to give your head a wobble RR, Nige did an ok job overall, nothing more. I don’t see any club rushing out to secure his services since he left, do you. And don’t give me that illness flannel, he’s long over that now.
Managers like him, Bruce, Pardew and Warnock are long past their sell by date at thi level. Possibly Warnock can still do a a specific job in a short period of time, but he can’t sustain that, as we’ve seen in his last few jobs.
How about you get behind the new manager and hope for the best, not the worst outcomes. Your a joke of a supposed supporter of BCFC!!

You say "sacked" buit he was told he wasnt going to be renewed at season's end and at the time was not well [ spent a long time wasnt it a couple month's? "in London" GETTING WELL and CF was asked to fill the gap, but was never going to be a permanent City manager ... remember NP sneaked him in the door when one of the 2 coach's were ill with cancer!

I did hear a rumour about him being ‘let go’ on health grounds, but I’ve not seen or heard anything official along that line.

May be he is finished with football after the shambolic pantomime under JL.
Or may be he is waiting for the right job.
He is not a guy that just takes any old job.

That joke of a supporter as you put it has been going down the gate since a nipper. Season tickets consecutive for the last 25 years not sure there are many with those stats.

Been to 80% away grounds in England following City.:emoticon-0136-giggl:emoticon-0136-giggl:emoticon-0136-giggl

That’s all conjecture, he had health issues, he didn’t denied that, but they were never given as the reason why he left.

That’s harsh Sup RR may have different opinions to you, but he’s obviously a passionate City fan, you’re out of order there.
