in both tables the Chelsea figures need revising as the number of results don't match the number of displayed games played .
thanks! Its one loss too many so they are 1-4-3 as a record after 8 games.

in the second table problem is the other way round as more played than number of results so it's probably that 1 loss is in wrong tablethanks! Its one loss too many so they are 1-4-3 as a record after 8 games.

Top contributors for goals
Salah 19 goals 9 assists 28 games 63% shot accuracy
Nunez 14 goals 11 assists 38 games 52% shot accuracy
Jota 14 goals 4 assists 28 games 56% shot accuracy
Gakpo 11 goals 4 assists 38 games 49% shot accuracy
Diaz 10 goals 3 assists 36 games 56% shot accuracy.
All 5 are chipping in but the difference in assists is surprising and i'd have wanted more form diaz in his position
Our top assist maker is now nunez. salah and trent both injured and both on 9. Macallister and bradley then shipping in 5 a peice.
25 goal contributions in 38 appearances so far for the mad lad
28 in 28 for the Egyptian king.
I've thought this about Diaz for a while. Brilliant player to watch but his end product needs to improve.
Any stats on Diaz?
This is the thing with Diaz.....he's too predictable and the end product is not there often enough. Brilliant player to watch but his end product needs to improve.

what kind of stats aside from the ones above?
I said at the start of the season I want more from diaz. He came in and was brilliant for that last 4 months of the season, injecting some spark into the attack that was missing.
He then had horrible injuries and missed a lot and was stop start. Was hoping this season he’d push on and really cement his place and chip in. I think he’s prob scoring the expected amount, I don’t see him as a forward in same way as the others, more a tricky winger who will dribble and maybe get 10-15 goals in all comps. But I expect a few more assists.
He seems to have lost the ability to go past a man in tight spaces a bit though. Was one thing he offered that others didn’t. Some skill to go past crowded defences.
still think he’s important as he’s so different to the rest though.
I think it’s hard to judge them all by stats.
Salah has set the bar so high that everyone else’s numbers look average in comparison. But then if you compare them to the other wide forwards in the league they’re about there.
You also have to take into account most teams will have a settled front 3 plus a back up. Where as other than Salah, the 4 others are all rotated and competing and if they all get 10 goals each, that’s 40 goals.
i think most teams would take 40 goals from their remaining wide players in a team. Ours are jusg spread across more players
Definitely, and he attracts the defenders attention freeing space for others, just need Diaz to pick his head up a bit more.
Been here before though haven't we? With Salah. Difference is, Salah was getting a lot more goals.
We definitely perform better when Diaz is in the side, same with Nunez.

Once he keeps positive he's a good player.
When he goes into the shell and just starts passing back and shuffling about filling a space then he's worse than useless.
When positive he can be a good player. Play forward, press up, carry theball with intent to break the lines.
This is btw the same reason I think grealish is ****e. He just runs sideways most of the time looking for contact or lay offs and simply rarely looks to create with intent.
I've always said the same about players like say nasri. Far far too easy to play against as they don't threaten
Elliott did well Sunday because he played with intent and actually made interceptions and real presses but alas looked to play people in.
Theres been times in the past where he's changed a gsme by injecting that bit of willingness to press when we were going nowhere so tjst what I want to see from.him
Takes two players to make a pass
He's also still only 21 (and one month)
