Pressing stats vs United:

No real surprises - we were very intense at the start, got two goals and then took it easy ...

Our pressing was very effective in this game in the sense that it led to:

- 4 counter attacks
- 5 shots
- 2.04 XG (this is the highest under Klopp in the PL)

To give you more context on xG from pressing, we actually created more in only other game and that was vs Maribor back in 2017.

Here are the pressing numbers:

- Bobby with very high volume
- Jota also with high volume but had the efficiency to match (along with Mo).
- Keita continues to be a pressing beast as he won possession 5 times
- Konate had 10 presses which is the 3rd highest for a defender under Klopp.

the highlights on BBC etc failed to give the credit to keita. his ability to read and nip in and intercept was fully on shot v utd.

The below chat shows the quality of shots taken vs the number of the shots taken.

As you can see, LFC and City are insane at creating a large number of quality chances each game.

Leicester's shot quality is very good but they're not taking enough shots. Chelsea are in the middle and could suggest that they're currently overperforming (remains to be seen if this is sustainable).

Then you have Norwich who don't create any good chances nor do they have enough shots.

in firaness if that's over just them prem this season we've only played two decent sides in city and chelsea.

the second one with arsenal top is interesting. kind of counter intuitive with arteta. when they are bad they are awful is what i take from that. 2 goals a game conceded when they concede.

It says "all competitions" in the title...
