Pressing opposition half, exert pressure, control, goal! That’s possibly the best indication of what Amorim is trying to transform the team into. Very methodically executed.

Was disappointing to not beat a poor Spurs team that was there for the taking, but in hindsight another positive comeback to get a point when we'd have folded last year.

Onwards and upwards, a useful international break coming up then, on the face of it, more straightforward matches.

Of the next five games we should beat Everton, draw away at Palace, beat West Ham, beat Wolves, then beat Bournemouth as that's at home.

Should do at least!

That is odd! But not like it matters to you guys much this season. With no Europe, its not like you will have a congested fixture list.
Very odd that a team would go ten games with no saturday kick off though......huh

I think we're suddenly becoming flavour of the month again.

Was good having Saturday at three kick offs, not on Sky or TNT.

Will try to get to the Wolves game, although means driving up and back on consecutive days.

Would have liked to go the Newcastle game, I quite enjoy seeing them sat in their arse faking injury to waste time really, honest, but cba driving about on Boxing day.

As an aside - we should have got rid of Mainoo and kept McT - just saying.
The same Mainoo that destroyed Man City in the finals? The same player that was full of promises just a year ago? I don’t see how it is even a case of one over the other. Many complained McT being a good player but not good enough to be a starter which I always thought was a weak argument. Ugarte is the player we should have never brought into the team at the expense of other players.

Weak in what way?

He still isn't good enough for what we aspire to be.
Have you ever actually seen him play?

Serie A isn’t even close to the level of intensity of the premier league. He was a decent sub, and he should have stayed as a squad player, which has always been the case, but he hid in big games.

I know this, because I've witnessed it many times.
Definitely useful as an impact sub though.

The idea he should come back is complete nonsense, the ship has sailed. Good luck to him, but where he is.

Ugarte is simply not good enough though. (Yet) another ten Hag mistake.

Amongst many.
